Chinotto Voce - The Secret Soda
Chinotto is fantastic! Easily a favorite beverage of mine. My only complaint about it is how increasingly hard to find it has become. Years ago, it was readily available with all of the other San Pellegrino beverages, but unlike the others, Chinotto has become a retail unicorn, vanishing from the shelves over the past half-dozen years. I'm not sure why this is, because it's such a good product -- the bittersweet flavor is agreeable on its own. In fact, I don't mix it with anything else as the flavor is just that uniquely good. I'm grateful that it can still be purchased online, but usually only in the meager four-packs. Why's it so rare? It's delicious. I really wish San Pellegrino would return to their original approach with it and have it be more available. It's fear easier on the tastebuds than Campari, in case you're looking for a comparison.

rare pop
Sitting at an outdoor cafe on the piazza in front of the Pantheon in Rome, sipping this delicious soda....that's a memory - Sanpelligrino Chinotto . It's just sweet enough with a bit of bitters, like a root beer on steroids, subtly spiced somewhat like Cinzano Red aperitif, I love it. However it is almost unobtainable in the USA., not even at my (Amazon owned) Whole Foods, but happily available here at Amazon dot com for a pretty penny! However, it may sometimes be unearthed at some Italian specialty food shops at a cheaper price.

Perfect summertime sipper!
I love drinking these straight up. The first time I tried Sanpellegrino Chinotto I wasn't sure if I liked it, but it grew on me and now I absolutely love it! Unique, bitter orange taste and perfect for sipping on a hot summer's day. These are also great for making artisanal cocktails, pairing well with many different liquors. I wish it were easier to find here in the states, they are such a luxurious treat!

Is this self-care?
Wish it had stronger carbonation, but I will buy this forever.

Pricey but worth it
I live in Austin & had two go-to stores 4 chinotto pre-covid that don’t have it anymore. I LOVE Chinotto, but not enough to spend $5 per tiny bottle. I recommend it as a nonalcoholic beverage comparable in flavor to campari and bitters, great for adults who don’t like overly sweet drinks or who can’t drink alcohol. My Prime order came early just in time for hosting Italian expats on xmas eve (chinotto is EVERYWHERE in italy!) and my guest from milan who cant tolerate even small amounts of alcohol had one as did another Italophile fan of chinotto. Buy it as a sporadic treat or craving fix or special occasions/entertaining guests. Gr8 for teetotalers and italophiles etc

Tastes like bad cough syrup
This has got to be the worst tasting sparkling drink we’ve ever tried. It tastes like really bad cough syrup or mouthwash. A complete waste of money.

delicious treat
I had this slightly bitter but sweet drink at a bistro in Dublin Ireland over the summer 2023 and absolutely LOVED IT! I could not find it locally, but Amazon came through! The 4 bottles come wrapped in bubble wrap and in a box; no damage and very fast delivery! Pricey but worth it.
