Excellent kit for adding an internal SSD
To be clear, I pay for all my own stuff so I will give my (sometimes brutally) honest opinion on everything I review so people can make an informed decision before they purchase. So I decided to upgrade an existing 2TB (mechanical) hard drive for a shiny new 2TB solid state drive (SSD). This kit makes it simple to fit the smaller form factor of the new SSD's into the space where an older hard drive would sit. Just mount your SSD onto the cage (screws are supplied and are the smaller ones!) and then mount and secure the cage into the hard drive bay. In case you need it, they also supply the power and data cables to connect up to the hard drive. Heck they have even included a small screwdriver! Everything in the kit appears good quality and it all went together easily enough. Oh and the upgrade to the SSD is highly recommended (Samsung 870). Overall. For around £10 (at time of purchase) this is ridiculously good value! Thanks for reading and I hope you found it useful.

Amazing value mounting kit
I think this has got to be one of the best value drive mounting kits I've ever come across with the added benefit of being able to install 2.5" HDD/SSD to one 3.5" drive bay in your computer. This means you can essentially double the amount of HDD/SSD drives you can install to your computer which will be especially useful for very small form factor builds. This kit contains absolutely everything you need to the job - right down to the screw driver! It contains the following items: - 3.5" drive bracket - 2 x SATA data cables with securing clips - SATA Socket to 2 x SATA Plug power splitter - Molex to 2 x SATA Power splitter - 8 x Screws for SSD/HDD drives - 4 x Screws for mounting the 3.5" bracket into the drive bay - Small screw driver All of the parts are decent quality and I had no issues such as poorly threaded screws etc. As an experienced user this was a complete doddle and only took a few minutes before it was installed and working. I even ended up with some spare parts which I threw in my PC spares box! I installed 2 x Samsung EVO 860 drives into the bracket which fit perfectly and there was a few millimetre gap between the drives. The Samsung EVO drives are quite thin (6.8 mm) but I suspect you could install thicker drives into this bracket (but you may adversely affect airflow in doing so). The instructions are somewhat vague with just an exploded diagram of the bracket with where the screws and drives go. Make sure you mount the drive(s) the right way around in the bracket when you are installing them because it is possible to install them back to front and then the bracket probably won't fit properly in the computer because the bracket's screw holes won't line up. Overall this is an excellent kit and I highly recommend it. Pros: - Amazing value and probably difficult to buy all the included parts for a similar price - Decent quality cables and parts - Everything required is included in the box (including a screw driver!) Cons: - The instructions may be a little vague for novice users

Sturdy bracket makes upgrades easier
Setting up my tech kit just got a bit easier with this mounting bracket. It’s robust and versatile, allowing for multiple configurations which perfectly suit my rather eclectic desktop setup. I managed to fit two SSDs in it, and there's enough of an air gap to allay any concerns about overheating. It did take a bit of precision to get the screws in, especially as they can feel a bit tight, but with some patience, it was manageable. The absence of spare screws or detailed instructions meant I had to improvise a bit, but that’s something a seasoned tech enthusiast can handle. Be cautious with the sharp edges – I had a minor scrape with one that nearly sent me searching for a plaster. The compartments are a bit snug, so some SATA cables might need a touch more care to fit in properly. However, once connected, the setup is reliable. In the end, it’s a well-crafted piece of kit that simplifies upgrading my system significantly. My only real gripe? I wish they’d included those extra screws!

Excellent bracket, contains (probably) everything you need and a screwdriver.
Great value. The SATA power splitter cable is particularly useful because when two SSDs are installed in the holder you may find that a regular daisy chain SATA cable is too bulky to plug in. With the splitter that problem is solved. This is the second of these that I bought, very handy if you're swapping out HDDs and installing SSDs in their place. Only thing for me that could have improved it is if both SATA cable were straight connectors because you can't use a 90 degree connector with the bracket you need two straight connectors. If your motherboard supports a 90 degree connector then that's fine just use it there. My motherboard requires all straight connectors. I just used the existing HDD SATA connector and one of the included connectors so not a problem.

The perfect SSD/2.5" mounting kit
Beautiful kit at a good price. Includes the following... 1. Tray/caddy/sled/plate (call it what you will) to mount 2 SSDs/2.5" SLIM HDDs to a 3.5" Desktop computer bay 2. Mounting screws for drives and for the Tray/sled/Plate 3. Screwdriver with a grippy handle 4. 2x Braided Power Splitter cables (One Molex to 2x Sata power the other Sata to 2x Sata power splitter) 5. 2x Sata data cables (1 with straight connector to straight the other angled to straight) 6. Documentation (support and warranty card) although no real fitting instructions (its pretty obvious and not needed) The mounting Tray/Plate itself is decent thickness metal, and not flimsy like some i have seen. Finish is good with no sharp edges, drives line up with screw holes just fine and it mounts neatly. Cables included are likewise good quality. The power cables surprisingly are nicely braided, they measure 20cm in length. The Sata data cables likewise are nice quality and measure 45cm in length. Of all the Kits i have seen on the market this is one of the best. It is also one of the most varied in terms of what additions you get in the kit (one angled and one straight sata data cable and having a molex to sata as well as sata to sata power cables included are nice touches, the screwdriver is just a little bonus). 10/10 from me, would go straight for this again if i ever needed another 2.5 to 3.5 mount. Even if i did not need the extra cables at that moment as those that are included are decent quality and handy to have for spares. Recommended.

Tiny box, no surprises on the content
Perfect product. Screws to mount 2 drives, screws to mount the frame to the case, 2 power splitters, one SATA, one molex, and finally 2 SATA cables, one with a right angle plug at one end. as I want more airflow I mounted one SATA drive under the frame, upside down, and the other on the top mount position, also upside down. Simple, more solidly made than I expected at the price, and with all the cables I need. All good. Ooh, nearly forgot, also include a little screwdriver so no need to find one if you want to install it as soon as it arrives. One last thing, the box it arrives in will make you believe you've been conned, until you open it and find everything present and correct. Will be looking for other products sold by this company.

Does what it is built to do.
Purchased to put an ssd into my tower PC. It does exactly what I wanted. It is a strong metal construction. You would have to apply a lot of force to break or bend it. SSD fitted easily with no problems. I fitted 2 ssd's one on top of the other with no problem. I only did this to see if 2 would fit perfectly and they both did. I tested both sata cables and both power cables. All 4 cables worked. All the screws that came with it fitted the ssd's and the mounting screws for the bracket all fitted without a problem. It even comes with a small screwdriver. Pros - Well made, Strong and lightweight. Universal fitting. Installed easily into PC. 2 sata cables and 2 power cables included. Screwdriver included. Cons. None. Relative has also purchased one and we would both recommend this bracket.

Exactly What I Needed for My HDD Upgrade
Very suitable hard drive caddy kit. Both functional and well made compared to cheaper alternatives. It fully met my requirements when installing a 2.5" SSD into an old NZXT PC case that lacked an existing SSD mount.
