I bought a few of these Toilet Tank Bank water-saving inserts and honestly, they’re a no-brainer. Dead easy to install – just fill with water, seal it up, and drop it into the cistern. Took all of two minutes.You can immediately hear and see the difference with each flush – less water used without affecting performance. It’s a simple, effective way to cut down on water use, especially if you’ve got older toilets that aren’t dual-flush.They don’t get in the way of the mechanism, they don’t float about, and they don’t cause any issues. Just quietly doing their job, saving money and water with every flush.Perfect if you're looking for a cheap and effective way to reduce your water bill or just want to be a bit more eco-conscious without any effort. Recommended.

So Far So Good, I have done tests (Probably used a weeks water messing around) and found it saves exactly 1 litre of water per flush. My cistern seems OK for it, as its an older one, the bag hangs on the side but almost touches the ballcock but doesn't affect the operation. All that remains is to see whether it stands the test of time, not puncturing or whatever as others have said in their reviews. As I don't know about this yet I will give it 4 stars, but if it last a year it would have got five !

Good product saves water

Difficult to judge. It did not fit my slimline cistern by clipping to the side so I took the advice printed on the item and laid it in the bottom. This restricted the flow as the ball was prevented from dropping right down when flushing. In trying to push the bag down further, it punctured, took in air and tried to float, further impeding the ball valve, so I had no alternative but to bin it. If you have a large cistern (and consequently use a lot of water when flushing), then I'm sure that the device would be fine.

I was a bit nervous about whether this would work as planned but it's been straightforward, easy to fit and completely forgotten about in the 2 months since I installed it. No difference to the flushing experience, it's just there doing it's thing quietly. Highly recommended.Other reviewers have highlighted it's no good for dual flush or narrow cisterns so do check if either of these apply to your loo.

This item a bit on the 'flimsy' side [ the plastic being a bit on the thin side] so it needs careful handling. Easy to install but would not be suitable for a slimline cistern. Does the job however.

I have had the Toilet Tank Bank Flush Insert for just over 2weeks now.I must STRESS, as it was also stressed on the Amazon’s Product Description, that it is NOT SUITABLE for Dual-Flush Toilet Cisterns NOR for Toilet Cisterns that Hold 6 Litres of Water or less for flushing.My own Toilet Cistern was installed in the early 1990s and I believe it has just over 9.5 litres from what the plumber said to me. With the TOILET TANK BANK Flush Insert which can take a maximum of 2 Litres, it reduces the amount of water used per Flush by approx 2 Litres, which hopefully in a few months should TRANSLATE to LESS WATER USED & in due course to lower Metered Water Bills.I NEED to STRESS though that you NEED to have a Wide Toilet Cistern rather than a Narrow Toilet Cistern in order to get the TOILET TANK BANK Flush Insert to fit easily into your Toilet Cistern.From my understanding, Toilet Cisterns installed before 1990 are between 10 and 12 litre capacity, between 1990 and before 1992 about 9litres, between 1992 and pre 2001 7.5Litre Capacity and from 2001 6 Litre Capacity, for which the TOILET TANK BANK Flush Insert is not suitable, as the minimum regulatory standard tends to be up to 6 Litre Toilet Cistern Water Flushing Capability.I have enclosed some pics and I hope my review will be of some assistance to you as to whether the above TOILET TANK BANK Flush Insert will be suitable for your Toilet Cistern.Thank you for READING and I hope you find it HELPFUL.

Easy to use and install however the bag ripped after a few day so very disappointed.
