Really impressed with these. Brought them for holding a power banks and their cable and they do the job nicely. Good quality and really reasonably priced.

This nice hard, flexible and light casing is it for purpose for the expected protection, in size (one small hard drive or similar of max 85mm x 135mm, with small slot for harness (e.g. usb cable <1m or so) . Overall, good value for money and seems to be a good quality so far.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Perfect for the external hard drive I own as I wanted to keep it protected free of dust.

Seems to be well made, and the fit is perfect for the Seagate Expansion drives I have. There's no padding in it so it won't protect from serious knocks, but it will protect the drive from scratches, dust, spills, and simple knocks or drops.I like the little mesh pocket inside for the cable or whatever you want to put in it, and I like the one, wide elastic to keep the drive in place. The elastic is not tight enough to stop the drive from sliding around in side, but then it can't slide far as there is only about 6mm space between the drive and the side of the case. However it's very secure so that when you open the case there is no chance that the drive could fall out.The zip feels secure and the outside of the case is contoured. That means there's no flat space anywhere to stick a sticker for ID purposes if like me you have a half a dozen of these. A bit of Tippex will overcome this though.

I really like these cases a lot. Their price is very affordable and very good quality. Having just looked up on my order history, the first time I bought one of these cases was back in May 2012. I have been buying them exclusively ever since every time I buy portable hard drives. This last order has now upped my count to 12 cases in total. Back to the case; it is durable, your disk drive fits perfectly, it has an elasticated band to keep the drive secure, plus a netted pouch for storing the drives' cable when you want every thing packed away. I just noticed that I stated the obvious seen as you can clearly see it on tho photos, Anyway, too much effort to tap the backspace key repeatedly to clear out that last two sentences.Anyway, the point is, you cant go wrong buying these cases and they are well worth their price. I have had one of these for a couple of years that is still going strong, so bought 2 more a couple of months ago, so all have now had regular use for a period of time.They hold 3 different portable HDs each of a slightly different size.One holds smaller old 500gb WD my passport, which isnt held in as snug but it is still held well enough, there is room around it and it will slide if you tip the case upright but it's a very slow movement, and when I'm carrying it about it isn't placed to go tipping different directions or being thrown all over in my bag.The others hold 2gb WD my passport and a 2gb Toshiba Canvio, these hold perfectly, and I'm sure they would hold a bigger size too.There is a pocket on the other side to hold the cable.The Zip is smooth on all 3 of these cases. I've seen a number of reviews where people have had issues with the zips but anything you buy with zips at any price sometimes you can be unlucky and get a duff one, but all 3 of my cases have no issues with the zips.The EVA case itself is as you'd expect a rubbery feel, when pressed it has give, if you want high impact protection then this £5 case will not be it, its equal to the price paid.I'm happy with the storage and protection at home and for travelling about, I don't take it anywhere or travel with it in a way that would see it chucked about, dropping from high heights or getting crushed. long distance travel I have inserts I've made from jiffy bags, which I'd still use even if I had a super tough shock proof case, I haven't made them primarily for these cases.Reviews ask to mark out of 5 stars for sturdiness, travel, durability, now I guess how each person marks this is going to affect this score because if you was to compare it to a £30 case then it would score lower, but if scored in relation to its cost of £5 then that makes the score higher, and this is what I base any review on - the quality and function in relation to its cost.

A well made unit with a smooth zip. I needed a protective case for an mp3 player to be carried in the car, this has provided ideal protection for the screen with additional space for connecting leads.

I have bought 3 of these for different hard drives. Good size, excellent price, and brilliant protection for portable hard drives.
