I found the 3D on this model! It is great!
As others have mentioned the picture is crisp and clear even for 1080p movies at a large size, they look great. As expected, lights in the room on the screen do quickly degrade the quality when not using a good screen. 3D on this model is easy to set up using the device settings and is the best 3D I've seen when paired with good active 3D glasses. One last thing is sound quality. From the reviews, I had expected a decent loud audio from the unit and am now using a separate speaker for audio. For refurbished, this unit looked new and is very easy to set up.

Doesn't justify the price.
The Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K is a disappointing upgrade that fails to justify its premium price tag and the refurbished one does not live up to Anker/Nebula build quality.. While it boasts 2,200 lumens brightness, the actual measured output in standard mode only reaches around 1,700 lumens, which isn't significantly better than the much cheaper Cosmos 4K SE's 1,800 lumens. The gaming performance is particularly underwhelming, with input lag measuring 65-68ms even in game mode, making it unsuitable for anything beyond casual gaming. This is especially frustrating when compared to the Cosmos 4K SE, which achieves an impressive 18.4ms input lag.The build quality leaves much to be desired, especially coming from the Mars 3 which features robust IPX3 waterproofing and drop protection. The Cosmos Laser 4K offers no such durability features despite its higher price point. While the laser light source promises 25,000 hours of life, the same longevity can be found in the more affordable Mars 3's LED system. The contrast and black levels, though better than some LED projectors, still fall short of expectations for a premium laser projector. For the price, you'd be better off considering alternatives like the Hisense L9G, which offers superior color performance. Even the more modest Mars 3 with its 1000 ANSI lumens and built-in 40W speaker system provides better value for money. The Cosmos 4K SE, at a lower price point, delivers comparable brightness and actually superior gaming performance, making the Laser 4K's premium price tag hard to justify.

Decent video, but software is lacking
I bought this alongside another cheaper non-laser projector, tested them both, and decided to keep the other one. Here are the pros and cons of this projector:Pros:- Picture quality was very good, contrast was better than the LED alternative. Audio was impressive as well.- Came with android TV 12 instead of version 10, which was a pleasant surprise.- I liked the idea of the dongle being replaceable, but I couldn’t find anything that indicated they intend it to be upgradable in the future.Cons:- The device doesn’t work without the dongle, for example, you cannot just hook up an HDMI device and project if the dongle is missing or broken.- Unlike the other LED projector I kept, this one cannot connect to a Bluetooth audio device like headphones or speakers if it’s taking the input from HDMI. So if you intend to use another dongle with this, you are restricted to the internal speakers or have to hook up to the aux port in the back.- YouTube playback even with 1080p was choppy, and the audio was choppy as well on Bluetooth headphones. I think the processor is not fast enough for the codecs.- The projector doesn’t have much of a vertical throw, meaning if you put it level on a table (like you would ideally want to), the bottom of the image will be below the projector’s level. So the tall projector and its bold handle will likely block the view.- The heavy and upright design of this projector makes it unstable on a tripod, it’s mostly intended to be used on a table, which makes positioning and adjustments difficult. All in all, audio/video is great but software and capabilities are limited for this price point. This could still work great for you if you want something simple, decent-quality, and portable, and the details above don’t really matter to you.

It is wonderful!
It’s BRIGHT and it’s QUIET with barely a whisper of fan noise. I love it and wish I’d just biught it from the start than the theee previous cheap ass projectors that just didn’t hit the sweet spot. Love it!

Ok projector but not so much during the daylight outdoors
Good projector accept that you can’t see much during daylight hours while set up outdoors or even inside.. I have to close all my blinds during the day to see this the picture well and even that really isn’t enough.., Another thing I don’t like is that on these refurbished units they don’t offer that long of a warranty. You get a 90 day warranty on them and at about a year my power supply blew and now I’m out all that money for a projector. The manufacturer won’t even take it back for repairs for any type of repair. I sent it to 3 different repair places and nobody wanted to work on it. After all this I bought a brand new one and it even has some quirks. It just shuts off sometimes or will back out of what your watching a few minutes after start up. Just boggles my mind that even the manufacturer doesn’t even want to work on repairs. If you do purchase this projector the do yourself the favor and definitely get the extended warranty or the insurance on it. Trust me on this. I’m kicking myself now. Also I wouldn’t even buy a refurbished unit ever again. Only buy these new. Really mad that they won’t even take it back for repairs. Shame on them.

Great projector
I needed a projector to show movies at dusk. And this one works great for that. The apps i can put on it work great. The one problem I have is when you use a hdmi device you can’t use the Bluetooth to connect to speakers. Luckily I had long enough audio cable to reach external speakers.
