Perfect with surface pro 11 elite
Brilliant price for ‘a like new’ pen. Functions all perfectly with what appears to be anew nib and a batter that the surface pro 11 says is 60%. Instant pairing with the new surface.

It's an accurate, official, expensive, microsoft pen
There's very little to say about this pen; it writes on the page and draws accurately. My only gripe is that, in the world where everyone is watching their environmental use, this still uses batteries that you have to change. Making this chargable would be an obvious step forward from Microsoft. Saying that, I have had the item for around 2 months and the battery life has barely depleted. If you are going to use the Microsoft Surface as a tablet, then this item is a must as some pages require the pen rather than the finger, to scroll. If you have a keyboard or an external mouse then this item is not essential.I've used it on drawing software and on the Microsoft Maps software which lets you draw on the map, and it seems accurate to me. Note: I am not a professional artist so cannot asses this for complete accuracy.

Check the battery!
This is my second surface pen. The feel of this is very good- more of a matt feel. It works a treat although it took a while to connect as it was sent out with a flat battery! New battery - worked straight away!

Excellent product but over priced
No complaints on the functionality of this product. It definitely makes life easier. I guess if I was to be picky and find a fault it would be that if you pull the end out where the battery sits, you have to reconfigure the pen to the functions you want. But as long as you don't pull the end out you're ok.For me, the issue is the price. Well overpriced. It's good, and I appreciate the technology, research and background of the design etc, but the cost outweighs the benefit. I wouldn't buy it again at this price if this one ever breaks down. I'd rather stick to touchscreen with my fingers.

Beats cheap imitations hands down
I have used two non-Microsoft pens on my surface pro. This is without a doubt far more comfortable and superior than either of those. I am a teacher working online during covid-19 lockdown and I have to mark onto pdfs of my students work. The other pens were tricky, I kept accidentally pressing the buttons on the side. This has one button on the side but I have not had that problem. I love the rubber at the end of this like a normal pencil, I don’t have to switch to eraser, just flick over the pen and use the other end, so much quicker. The weight of the pen is so much better too, I usually use a fountain pen and it is a similar weight so feels more natural. This also has a magnet in it and it sticks well to the magnet side of the surface pro, others that are only metal do not stick quite so firmly. Yes it was expensive and my school will not cover the cost (they would have paid for a £20-£25 version) but I am spending so much time using it I don’t mind having paid the extra myself.

Impressive.
If I'm honest, the Bluetooth functionality of this pen saves little time, especially when all the features are available after a short tap on the taskbar, but it's a nice feature. The pen function itself is extremely accurate, arguably comparable to writing with a real pen. It goes without saying that this pen works best with the Surface series of products, but I do believe it will work with other computers that support Pen input. You may, however, be better looking into a pen that is slightly cheaper. With this device, you are truly paying for the reliability of Surface.

A quality input device
When I purchased my Surface Go 2 I was shocked at the cost of the Microsoft peripherals and questioned their value. I initially bought a cheap pen to see if I would require one and actually found it hard to use and unreliable. Potentially not an input device I'd find useful. However I decided to finally purchase the official Microsoft pen and its a delight to use. It feels well balanced, has a positive feel when writing, its much more accurate than the cheaper pens and now feels like an important input device rather than a cumbersome unreliable alternative.Think as the Microsoft pen as the equivalent of a quality Parker pen. And a cheap copy as trying to use a broken biro where the ink intermittently stops.Recommend this pen.

Really good
I've been using this for my Microsoft go tablet for 3 years now and I've not once needed to replace the batteries yet (I do use it fairly often for uni). Dropped & threw this multiple times and it's not once broke xD Overall, very satisfied.
