I feel so happy when I read this loving, joyful, Godly book to my mixed race son who sees someone who looks like him and mummy on the page. I am buying a bunch of these as gifts to give friends (both of colour and white) to expose their children to the LOVE of God and to diversity. God loves us ALL. We need to see that as children so that is sows the seeds of love and acceptance in us, for all races, from an early age. Review: Perfect wee birthday present - I bought this for a friends daughter. She loves it. When she got it she danced with it through the room. Though the book features a girl, I think it would also suit a wee boy. It’s just a beautiful book that reassures kids that they are just perfect. Not suitable for kids that are born with deformed hands though (sadly).

When God made the author and illustrator he definitely dreamed a dream about them :-) This book is a fine capture of how precious we all are to God. It is a source of inspiration to little ones who have often felt invisible to the world. Many children will be reminded that the only label worth sticking to themselves are that they are God's masterpiece. Thank you to everyone involved in making this book known!

Perfect for little ones to understand their identity in Christ
I love that this book encourages my son to have confidence in his identity. It reveals to him how much he is loved, valued, and cherished by God. It also encourages him to read independently.

My 2 and 3 year old like this book. A little longer than they could concentrate for but a good read during the day rather than at bedtime
