REAL TECHNIQUES Deep Cleansing Gel 150 ml (Pack of 1) White

Whilst purchasing some new Real Techniques brushes I came across this deep cleansing gel on their website. I am so glad I made this purchase! It has taken the pain out of washing brushes, and just a small drop per brush has given them a deep & thorough clean! I opted to buy the gel on its own via Amazon; as other sites such as Boots were selling a small bottle with their cleaning palette which I thought I would try without. I found that it was just as effective putting a small drop of gel in the palm of my hand and then swirling the damp brush around to really lather up the bristles; rinse and repeat until really clean. Doing this at least once a week, cuts down on cleaning time as the brushes aren't heavily built up with product. I have also noticed the effect it has had on my skin! As the brushes have had a much deeper clean compared to other brush cleaners I have used; its got rid of any nasties or dirt, making it far nicer to apply makeup & keep skin clear of blemishes. I would recommend this product & this seller, who was able to offer this at a better price than other online retailers I found at the time, with a reasonable delivery time too!

This really has been a revolution for me, I used to use a spray cleanser which you wiped off with a brush. I thought my brushes were clean, apparently not! I find it oddly satisfying cleaning my brushes now seeing how dirty they were (i even ended up cleaning brushes I was throwing out, sad I know!) It doesn't take long to clean, I do it once a week and if used with the Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette they come up a dream. it is worth trying, you can get a sample of the gel with the Palette so it's worth giving it a go!

I've had this product once before and it was amazing. Really cleaned brushes and sponges well. Fingers crossed the product hasn't been changed and it still works!

Absolutely brilliant cleanser. I'm surprised it has any negative reviews. I regularly clean my brushes so the majority of them aren't heavily soiled between washes, but this cleaner is excellent. I use expensive brushes and don't trust using just anything on them but his came recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad I tried it. It's much cheaper than my usual brand and does the same job. The cleanser has a lovely aroma which leaves my brushes smelling so fresh. It made quick work of even my foundation brush without the need for too much soaking. It leaves brushes soft and super clean, even white coloured bristles are left looking new. I have sensitive skin and often break out in spots if using harsh chemicals, but this hasn't given me any cause for concern. Would 100% buy again.

This is the first time that I have bought a proper makeup brush cleanser. I also purchased the palette at the same time. The cleanser works brilliantly, you do not need a lot, and it starts to work immediately, lifting out the makeup left on the bristles. It's gentle and does not have a strong smell. I would definitely recommend it and the palette. My makeup brushes are left like new!

My bottle arrived leaking and it constantly leaks? Like air pressure is forcing product out of the top of the bottle. I used to use a natural shampoo on my brushes. I find this stuff dosent get my brushes as white but it smells ok. I feel i have to use alot to clean a brush though and it could be a little thinner in consistency. The bottle is really hard so squeezing product out is difficult, a pump would be better x

I was doing an initial rinse with only water to all my brushes but I really saw the difference when I used this cleaning gel on a brush-cleaning pad. All the makeup bled from the brushes even after a second rinse! This actually smells nice too. You might have to use more than the recommended drop for larger brushes though. Either way, I'm so pleased with this product. I'd definitely buy this when I run out again.

It is extremely easy to use, only small amount can wash out all the pigment inside the brush, the result come out very satisfying, the brush likes good as new. And the scent is also very good, but not very strong. Overall, this is good value for money for me, already recommended my flatmate to buy one.

Würde mir dieses Gel definitiv wieder kaufen, da es dezent duftet und die Pinsel super schön sauber werden. Diese schauen nach der Reinigung aus wie neu. Einziger Kritikpunkt, das Gel lässt sich etwas schwer aus dem Fläschchen dosieren, da dieses sehr fest ist. Aber sonst eine absolute Kaufempfehlung! :-)

The gel cleanser dissolved the dirt and makeup with gentle swirling on the Real Techniques Brushing Cleaning Pallete. It left my brushes soft and clean. It also did not damage my bristles and did a great job getting all the grime out of my beauty blenders. First wet your brush liberally, and I find that if you dab your brush bristles around on something like your hand that works the product into the brush to release the makeup and dirt. You can twist the bristles around the palm of your hand and that works the product into it. I then rinse and continue to massage the bristles. I actually find you need two applications of the product to get the best results but that also depends on how much foundation product is in the brush. A little goes along way with this product! It really cleans all your brushes so well, you wouldn’t even think they were used and it makes them smell super clean! Definitely recommend. Especially for the price too!

Me aconsejaron este jabón para brochas y me ha sorprendido para bien. Quita los restos de maquillaje de la brochas y esponjas sin problemas y después las deja muy suave. Hay que echar poca cantidad y suelta bastante espuma. Volveré a comprarlo

The scent is whatever but the soap does its job, I found it took out all dirt and left my brushes looking brand new again. I typically leave conditioner on my brushes and let them sit for a little bit after they've been washed with the soap so they're left super soft and smell great, so if follow that you'll find the smell of the soap doesn't make a difference.
