Is this the same material that comes in the "atmosfx 3dfx form" kit?

The 2016 version of the 3DFX Form did include Hollusion Projection Material, but the 2017 version does not. Also, the 2017 version of Hollusion Projection Material features hanging grommets along the edges, which the 2016 version included in the 3DFX Form did not.

Will this only work with hollusion or will it also work with other formats from the bones dvd

I used it in my carport last year. Blacked out three sides with tarp then used the 'wall' function on the dvd. Looked great. Similar set up this year

Is this weatherproof?

Nope. Indoor use only. If you build an enclosure for it then you could use outdoors.
