PyrexPortables Large Hot/Cold 2 Pack for Freezer or Microwave

My community has a weekly potluck and I enjoy bringing casseroles. This keeps my casseroles hot! And when I bring something cold, it keeps it cold! I hate room temperature foods, especially when I work hard to make it tasty.

These are awesome!I mainly use them as hot-packs.I wrap the food/hot-pack in a towel for insulation and then put in a cooler (without ice obviously!) and they repeatedly have kept food warm for the 2 hour drive to family gatherings.

Had fish fry. Put packs in cooler to keep fish hot. Put packs in microwave for 3 min. Worked well

These are perfect for keeping food warm.

These are original Corning replacements. They work like the originals, of course and are no worse or better. If your heat/ cold pads developed leaks, be aware that these are just as fragile. This is my third set in the life of our casserole dish and like the originals, must be handled carefully or they will develop leaks.Recommended as an OEM replacement.

I've only used these packs for cold foods so far and they do there job and kept my food cold.

We bought these to put in our “cooler” to take fried chicken to a party over one hour away. I popped these in the microwave for for 2 minutes, wrapped in kitchen towel and stuck in cooler. The chicken arrived as hot as when I picked it up. Love them! Have not tried the “cold version yet”.

Product has instructions for heating the pads with your home microwave. Followed these with the first one and it ruptured/exploded before complete! Cleaned up (easier said than done) - successfully heated the second pad following the same instructions... Be warned. Jerry
