We couldn't afford to buy one for each of us so my husband and I use one brush and two heads. It's a great toothbrush but really expensive. The heads are also very expensive to purchase. However, electric brushes are a must for a proper clean and are so superior to a manual brush. We could never go back.

This is my second electric toothbrush I’ve owned. My first was an old style oral b pro type of toothbrush. I felt it was time to upgrade my old toothbrush and so I spent ages researching and comparing different toothbrushes (How I had the time to do this, I do not know! But that’s another story…)I decided on this io8 purple edition, as it sounded the best to suit my needs.PROS:- sleek and smooth to hold. Not bulky. Unlike some other plastic electric toothbrushes.- battery lasts approx 6 days after a full charge, for when brushing approx 2mins15secs twice per day. I connected to the Oral B app each time.- charge time from zero to 100% took only 3hrs. Not bad considering my old electric toothbrush took like 12hours!- the Oral B app works great (I connect to a standard iPhone, switch on Bluetooth on phone, and voila, connects within a second each time)- After every brush, the toothbrush display will show you how much battery is left. Although you have to wait approx 30secs after, cos the toothbrush waits until you’ve finished fully brushing. The app will also show you how much battery is left.- The brush head movements are powerful enough to feel an exquisite clean after every brush. I now no longer feel plaque leftover on my teeth, compared to when I use a manual brush or my old electric toothbrush.- You don’t have to connect to the app every time you brush. Without the app, the toothbrush will vibrate every 30secs to alert you to move to the next quadrant of your teeth. Very handy.- Easy to rinse / clean, plus a quick wipe down after, will keep your toothbrush looking new each time.- The magnetic charger is easy to use. Just plop the toothbrush in the middle round ball part and away it charges (No need to be precise such as slotting it into a hole, like my old toothbrush)- Different modes available to suit your needs. Mine had 6 modes: Daily Clean, Sensitive, Gum Care, Intense Clean, Whitening, Super Sensitive. I tend to use Daily Clean which does the job required.- Smart pressure sensor works well. I always brush too hard when using a manual, but this brush always alerts me (red light on neck of brush) to reduce the pressure. Gums feel much healthier and no bleeding since using this.- No dripping of toothpaste whilst using this toothbrush. I used to always have loads of foam running down when brushing (not good if I’ve put on a fresh outfit for work) Yet this toothbrush keeps thing neat and tidy for me, with just enough foam to feel like it’s getting a clean- accessories included are very handy for travel (such as the zip case which does hold the toothbrush and two heads securely, plus a separate toothbrush head holders case)CONs:- be mindful that the charger is a 2 pin plug, for bathrooms that have that charging option. If you haven’t got that installed in your bathroom, you’ll need to buy a separate adapter plug (which are only about a couple of pounds from supermarket) to plug the 2 pin into the 3 pin UK plugs.- also be wary that purchasing toothbrush heads specifically for iO brushes are an additional expense. Shop around for best prices.- This could be considered an expensive item. If you like the features and are looking for a superior range of electric toothbrush with a luxury feel to it, then this may be for you.Thanks for reading :D

I love how I can conect to wi fi, and get the app on my phone, my teeth feel much better, and no more bleeding gums. I like the design, very modern. And I also like the magnetic charger, and the fact it only takes 3 hours to charge. The case is a lovely lilac coloured good quality, with room for 2 spare brushes. I'm really pleased with my toothbrush.

Bought this for my wife, delivery took a while which I didn't mind however the box said UK plug and went it arrived. The plug was a European plug, not sure how or why this has happened. It's an inconvenience to say the least, however the electric tooth brush is super silent and my wife loves it.

This is my fourth Oral B electric toothbrush and I can say that this one is the best. In fact none of the others compare. I know it’s expensive but you get what you pay for. It’s easy to use, the functions on the body easy to change. I’ve noticed that all of my teeth feel cleaner. I’ve found it a bit noisier than my previous one but wouldn’t swap it. And it’s purple!

Ordered an IO8 which is a fantastic toothbrush, but within several months the battery life went dead/discharged at the 60% level. The unit was changed and 6 to 7 months on the problem is starting to reoccur. Avoid this make of toothbrush as batteries are not reliable. Now have to find a way of getting it repaired or bin it!

Honestly I struggle with keeping a good routine of brushing for 3 mins. With this brush I have been able to concentrate for 3 mins on brushing thanks to the oral B app that shows in real time which teeth you are brushing , I love it , great investment
