They are not huge, but well made and very easy to assemble. They hold 7 cubic feet of soil of you are doing the basic hexagonal unit one level deep.

I LOVE this garden bed. It took less than 5 minutes to put together and it looks fantastic. This is the best Amazon purchase I have made this year.

My hexagon frame kit arrived this morning, & is already in use. The panels are sturdy, clean-lined, and exactly as depicted on their page above. Even though the package was fairly short on instructions, I didn't need to call in a rocket scientist to assemble it – just pull out the hinge pins, fit two panels together, and slide the hinge pin back into place. Lather, rinse, repeat. In five minutes, the kit went from box to garden. At less than 10 lbs, it's also light enough to move around with ease, until you have it in *just the right* position in your yard, for those raised beds. In fact, my 83-year-old mother carried the box indoors upon delivery.From the perspective of one who likes to see the plants, not be distracted by the containers, this is also a winner. The finish is matte, dark, and wood-grained, so it looks *mostly* natural until you study it close up. It also feels and looks solid enough, and the design provides a lip for anchoring & stability, so that stacking won't be a problem – high raised beds or pyramids should work nicely. As my landscaping project advances, I'll be ordering several more.

Very easy to assemble; sturdy enough to have lasted three years so far, and, I hope, for many more years. I love how tall they are - so easy on my back to work with! I’m putting my first flower garden together and I will definitely be using these planters 😊. I purchased some from Amazon and some from another company. A few arrived broken; the other company immediately sent replacements. 👍🏼
