This watch is HUGE but extraordinary
First of all, this watch is enormous. If you don't have a wrist circumference of at least 6.75", it will look comically large on you. However, if you can pull it off, it will be the best watch you've ever owned. I have about a dozen different watches of all kinds (mostly automatic/mechanical, a few quartzes, and one other G-Shock), and this immediately became my daily wearer. It's incredibly legible, has every function you might need, works and runs flawlessly, has a shockingly good build/finish quality, and is solid and durable as all hell. It looks good, runs better, and outperforms watches dozens of times its price. If you have a big enough wrist, I don't think there's a better watch on the market, and certainly not for this price.I also want to say that my other G-Shock, a Casioak, is delightful for all the same reasons but has pushers that are a pain to properly press and a gray on black dial/screen that makes it hard to read in low-light conditions (even with the LED). This watch solves both those problems perfectly, and looks just as good if not better.

Great watch
I have had many G-Shock watches and they have all been great, this one is no exception, if you’ve had these watches before the adjustments are basically the same format as the others, very comfortable, so far so good

Great Value
I had the bigger stainless steel version of this watch for many years and started leaking. Since it was discontinued and the cost to repair it was close to $200, I went on Amazon as I always do, to find a replacement. Came across this one which is similar but smaller face and the price was really good. I received it, set the watch with the aid of YouTube videos even though it comes with instructions in English and Spanish. I love the fact that it does not feel as bulky as my old one. Solar charged and has time in many time zones, alarm, stop watch and so much more. You won't be disappointed.

Great looking watch. Bright LED light. Easy to read glow-in-dark hands.
I've had nothing but a G-shock on my wrist for 18 years. This is my 3rd one. I only got it to change up from the army green one I've been wearing for many years. I still have my very first one that I bought around 2003 in my drawer and it's keeping time still on the original battery. If you're not familiar with G-shocks, it takes a little time getting use to navigating and setting up all the options. But once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. In fact, once you set it up you really don't have to adjust it anymore.I like the glow-in-the-dark hands on this one. It's been so long since I've had to look at analog hands for time checks that it takes me a few seconds to register the time. But they are plenty bright enough to read in the dark quickly. The LED light is B-R-I-G-H-T! It lights up my whole room when I check it at night. I have to squint some when my night vision is 100% adapted. I've even used it to navigate to my kitchen at night without turning lights on. Yes, it's that bright.I like the metal trim/accents they built into this one. Still has the g-shock look but not as bulky.I work mostly indoors and the inside lights have kept the battery meter steady at 'M'. I have power saving on, so it saves juice at night (the hands come in handy here) and I like how with the press of any button, it comes instantly out of power save to light up and display time.If it's built like it's predecessors, this will come to serve me for many years to come.

You'll Love this G-Shock
I bought my first G-Shock over 40 years ago, and there have been a few I've purchased since that initial one, but as my tastes changed, I found myself disliking digital time readouts. For me, a quick glance at an analog hour and minute hand on a watch not only tells the time, but also instantly tells you how much time has elapsed, as well as how much time is remaining in an event. It's kind of a story. A digital readout, for me, however, requires a computation to get the same information. So that's why I love this G-Shock. It's not the only analog model in their line for sure, but this one really appeals to me cosmetically. And though the day, date, and seconds info is digital, I don't mind. The readouts are not prominent. And to add to it's beauty, the internal battery is charged by any kind of light from daylight to nightlight. No batteries to change. And there's a power reserve indicator to keep you aware of a need to charge it up. You can also illuminate the watch when it's dark by pressing a button, or you can tilt your wrist toward you at 40° from horizontal and the watch face illuminates itself automatically for 1.5 or 3 seconds, you choose. The other typical features are all there as well: a stop watch, countdown timer, several alarms and an hourly beep. Once you get this watch and go through the setup and learn the watch's features, you're going to love it for sure! Measurement wise, the case is 48mm in diameter (from 10 to 4), and 17mm thick. The crystal measures 32 mm. I have 7¼" wrists and it's perfect for me. 46-48mm is my sweet spot.G-Shocks are a deliberate choice among watch wearers. They have a very specific reputation, and those that wear them buy them on purpose. You don't have to be or do anything special to wear a G-Shock..just love them.

No English instructions
I only gave this watch TWO stars . Because there were NO English instructions with watch . Contacted Amazon support . Took a little to make them understand . NO English instructions . First link they sent with instructions was for a completely different watch . Finally they sent the correct one . Very small print . Needed magnifying glass to read. Finally got it set correctly ( I Hope!) CASIO you need to write much more intuitive instructions . We are not all techie junkies Update on3/16/2025 .Was this a returned watch. Which the previous owner Left the English instructions out ?
