Really, really, helpful
I don’t normally write reviews but I just got these today and they’re really helpful. I’ve been dealing with crazy knots creating pinched nerves in my forearms from being stagnant most of my adult life and finally starting to exercise after 40. I only use dumbbells at home, so in order to work my back to failure, I have to do a ton of gripping and it’s been tough on my forearms. Using them today, it’s been a game changer already. I can’t use them on some exercises, but being able to use them on bent over rows and all my pulling exercises allows me to keep my grip strength for the face pulls and bicep work where I need it and can’t use these. I’m like 3/4 of the way through the workout and felt the need to write this review for anyone who might be considering these as an option. They don’t work for every pulling exercise, but they really help for what they do. Also, not gripping during rows seems to be helping my form as I’m pulling more with my back than with my arms like I do sometimes while gripping normally. Definitely a great purchase for me

Assist when you need it, out of the way when you don’t!
So convenient! I use these for deadlifts exclusively, and it’s so nice to be able to start a set with my hands, then flip these down to finish it out when my grip starts to go. I’m able to get more reps and really work my posterior chain; previously, I was limited by my grip and never felt I was getting all I could out of my deadlifts.I’m fine-boned, with thin wrists, but these still fit at the snuggest setting. The color coating hasn’t rubbed off at all, despite the knurling on my bar. I’d recommend these for women or young adults who need a grip assist without taking grip training out of the equation completely.

I set a new max for myself at the gym with these. They’re AMAZING!!
Took them to the gym for the first time yesterday after the arrived the day before, and I LOVE them!! The grip part on the weights bar really hurts my fingers after about 3 sets, and I want to build towards lifting heavy (right now my max is only 80lbs), and with these I honestly can see that being possible now!Plus they’re really easy to put on by yourself, and you don’t have to constantly adjust them every set like you do with wrist straps. 10/10 amazing. The quality wrist padding is so comfortable too. Not too thick that you don’t have full motivation but cushioned enough to help your wrist feel firm during the lift. As someone with a bad wrist I really appreciate that about these cuffs. And they look just as sturdy as they feel. With how expensive gym equipment is getting these days these really were a steal. I’d recommend any one looking to get into lifting but on a budget, these are PERFECT. Less than $30 (not including shipping; I have prime) is cheap as hell!! I say get them. You won’t regret it!

Good for smaller hands
Bought for my wife. It fits her hands and wrists where most others were too big

Impressive!
A bit of a newbie to the gym scene and the workout routine I’m following uses a lot of dumbbells.. while watching workout videos, I saw these and thought what the heck, let’s give them a try. At first they’re a bit awkward when you put them on but once you actually put them use, you’re going to ask why you waited so long. Delivered today and put to use within hours. I was able to take my focus off my grip and focus on the muscles I was intending to work out. Absolute game changer. I was able to do more reps without the fatigue I experienced before. I 100% felt it in the muscle groups and was eager to continue lifting. The wrist padding so comfy, only obvious downfall was I had to move my watch up my arm. I use it for a timer between sets and exercises so I need it on. The hook has a nice grip material and you can tell it’s going to last for quite some time. I was able to push the hooks back so I could do a superset where the second exercise didn’t work with these.

Good for a few pull exercises but not useful in wide variety of applications.
They work but are cumbersome and require slow, deliberate method of use. Not exactly nimble or useful for many exercises due to clumsy feel. Bought to protect damaged wrists for pull exercises but only a benefited me for a few exercises . Does not play well will with cable attachments like bars for rows or lats or machines but OK for barbell movements like dead lifts or similar.

Great for heavy pull day.
I’ve been using these a couple of times a week for 2 years and they’ve held up great. Handles weights well over 300 pounds. I usually use them for pull-ups but I also use them on trap bar shrugs and barbell shrugs over 350 pounds for reps.

Grip Saver
Just what I was looking for. It allows me to keep working when my grip fails me.
