Switched from an Alexa to this and I’m so glad I did, so many issues with the Alexa but the google home is easier to use, more reliable and such an easier set up, if you’re thinking of switching or just getting one I definitely recommend

Good piece of tech
I’m really impressed with the fairly easy set up. The speaker sound is much better than I thought it would be for a small device. It has a lot of awesome base. I particularly like it because I have YouTube premium and it’s music on demand by voice control, much better than competitors. I haven’t managed to link my calendar yet or some personal options, but that may come when I get more used to the device.

It was ok to start with but Broke after 7 months.
Didn’t last for a year. After 7 months it kept shutting down. Blew my fuse and it become a fire hazard. The seller wouldn’t respond nor change or fix it. Had to chuck it in the bin.

It keeps on saying the phrase "I don't know, but I found these results on search"
So we bought this as wanted something that searched more for us. I tried it with basic commands and 99% of the time she expects me to go over and look at the screen because she can't be bothered to tell me what search results come up. For example on Alexa I ask it a question and it refers to amazon users. With Google I thought it would be able to verbalise search. If I wanted to keep looking at a screen I would use my tablet, so this defeats the object. It a glorified clock and very dissapointed.

I might not be using this right, but at the moment I've bought an expensive clock. Nothing wrong with the product delivery or price.
