Mad Maiden Shrub, Drink Mix, Honey Ginger Shrub, 10 Fl Oz

I try to drink tons of water but in the afternoons I usually want something else. This shrub is so delicious in sparkling water, and has a perfect balance of tangy sweetness with a little kick from the ginger. It’ll help me stay hydrated this summer without too much sugar. I also think it would taste great with bourbon, lemon, and soda, or in a mocktail with sparkling lemonade.

When the item arrived, the box was wet inside. The contents had leaked out of bottle. When I tried for a return/replacement, I was told that the item was not eligible for return, replacement, or refund. That seems unacceptable to me.

This is exactly what I expected. I have had other varieties of this product in the past. I love it.

Lovely drinking vinegar--crisp, slightly sweet with a spicy gingery kick. I actually meant to buy the Apple flavor, but this one is a really nice flavor too, not too sour "vinegary," but has a nice balance. Definitely spicy. Great for mixing into dressings and drinks, but honestly I just enjoy drinking shots of it straight.

I just tried this last night. Mixed it with grapefruit soda and tequila. The ginger is strong but it’s not overwhelming. I didn’t love the combination with tequila, but I do think this will be a good pairing with vodka and maybe a lemon-flavored La Croix.

Versatile flavor. Adds a very gentle bit of zing to any bland drink. Just enough zing for my taste.

I love shrub and this Honey Ginger is perfect for all kinds of drinks or just on it's own.

I love Mad Maiden shrub and will continue to purchase online and at stores locally. It tastes good with still water, sparkling water, added to mixed drinks, and more.
