LEZYNE Control Drive C02 Inflator (HEAD ONLY)

The first bike ride the day after I received the Lezyne adapter the cycling gods struck and I got a flat. The roadside repair went quickly, the adapter was easy/straightforward to use. This was my first time using a c02 cartridge so I was a little apprehensive, however just ensured the adapter control was closed, the adapter screwed onto cartridge completely, the adapter seated snugly atop the valve and slowly turned the control to release the c02 into the tube and voila ! So much easier that using a pump and great to be able to fully inflate my road tire(s) at the roadside. I will still be carrying a pump for that day when the cycling gods are really angry and I run out of cartridges (I plan to pack 2 cartridges). The Lezyne adapter appears to be well made and is really compact and easily carried in my under-seat cycle pack. The sleeve for the c02 cartridge is a snug fit but worked a charm, no frostbite. All in all a great option for getting back up and riding quickly at full pressure. I will update the review if I run into any issues with the durability etc. of the adapter.

I am still a tube rider on my bikes and I carry CO2 and a small pump (made by the same company). This CO2 inflator seems very well made and designed. I have a version of it that does not have the knob for controlling air flow and it works to, but liking this one better.

Okay....I think I've finally found a lightweight and small CO2 inflator that I love!!. I've gone through approximately six different inflators (several different brands) over the past 3-4 years. This one seemed like a quality product from the minute I pulled it out of it's packaging. It even looks really cool. My biggest problem with the lightweight inflators that I have been getting is that they don't seem to puncture the cartridges fully or they puncture them okay the first time or two and then they stop puncturing the cartridge altogether. That hasn't happened with this one (yet) - I've used it about 4-5 times and it seems to work really well. It's got a really precise adjustable knob that allows to meter how much air is put into the tire/tube - it is easy to use and works better than I thought it would. Overall I am super happy with this inflator

I got this because I had used one before and was familiar. It works as described, but there are better choices out there that are just as easy to use and are substantially smaller to carry with you. If size is not of concern for you, then this is a great product

What I like is the push-to-connect feature. I had another inflator that requires screwing it to the valve (I only have tires with Presta valve), but then every single time I remove it (after inflating it), the inner core stem would come off and deflate the tire again (that's why I always carry a portable pump). The nice thing of this inflator is that you push it to the valve and inflate, then to remove you pull it out. It maintains a good seal and let you inflate the tire with good control. Since to remove it you don't need to unscrew anything, the inner core stem remains in place.

I've had this for a couple of years now. It works perfectly every time.

Best inflator I’ve seen

Very compact and very nice control knob for regulating the gas from C02 cartridge. Friends all ordered one when they saw me using it on the road.

Bien pensé. Léger et on a le contrôle total sur le débit.

Pas encore servi mais qui me parrait bien fonctionner. Tête de gonflage avec réglage on off. Je me sens en sécurité avec cet outil sur le vélo.

Enkel att reglera lufttrycket. Gedigen konstruktion. Jag har provat flertalet andra, dessa är den variant jag tycker funkar bäst.
