Nice latches for the money
Latches arrived quickly. They are nice latches with SS hardware. The internals are zinc coated metal so they may not be the best for saltwater. I replaced broken plastic slam latches and the fit fine and installation was easy. For the price they are good latches and I'm moving my boat to a lake so no saltwater worries.

Looks like a nice part. Nice polish. Movement is smooth. Fit was perfect. Good value. Was nice as I needed 2 of the same size. Easy install

Chrome boat latch
Screws (stainless) that come with with both units are too short. I had to use the stainless screws from the units I replaced which were a bit too long so I cut a quarter inch off old screws and they worked perfectly

High Quality Product
The items were exactly as described and of very high quality! UPS delayed the shipment for a day or so which was a bit disappointing, but other than that it was a very good transaction.

As described
I have ordered a few of these and they seem to have improved over time. Their screws now make it long enough to fit through a 3/4 inch piece of plywood without buying replacements.

Only get latch and thick backing plate, regardless of description or pictures
Would be 4 star if I actually received all of the items...I did not get the latch catches, screws or thin backing plate. All I got was the latch and the thick backing plate. I ordered 2x sets so I don't think it was a 1 off problem.

Solid
It appears that the handle, body and latch itself are all metal - solid feel. Check the thickness- this appeared to be a bit thicker then my original plastic latch, but nothing that a foam pad rim couldn’t handle (not provided). Now all adjusted and very snug fit.
