Although the skull and crossbones is a very popular and iconic image worldwide, this is my own particular version, created from scratch by me and registered with the US Copyright Office. Unlike most skull & crossbones designs, I chose to leave out the jawbone and depict real arm and leg bones, which I think looks better. The skull and crossbones is an ancient symbol which became popular in medieval times. It is associated with pirates and the military.
