Good product, it helped eliminate the ABS from being illuminated after installing LED's
Older vehicles and new LED's? I think reviews like this one I am posting really help others make better decisions. I own a 1996 Ford F150 4x4 XLT pickup truck. If you are familiar with this 9th generation truck, then you understand that the stock halogen light bulbs served their purpose back in the past. Now they look like dim flashlights compared to the newer LEDs blinding us all at night while driving. If you can't beat them, then join them, right? I wasn't sure if I would need these resistors when I was updating all of my old bulbs with new LED bulbs, so I didn't purchase them yet. After replacing all, and I mean all 25 bulbs so far. Yes, there are that many bulbs on this truck. I only had one issue with the brake light bulb triggering the ABS light on the dash. I then purchased these resistors and after installing one resistor in-line at each brake light bulb, the ABS light turned off. So, I did need them after all. I also installed new LED capable hazard and flasher relays on the inside of the cab, in the fuse panel. I'm sure this helped to keep them working properly also. So, bottom the line is that you can successfully and safely upgrade an older vehicle to LED lights from the interior to the exterior with confidence. If I can do it, then so can you. Hope this helps.

Worked well
They worked well, only “issue” is the scotch locks - scotch locks are the most basic cheap kind of connector you can use - which is what these came with. Other than that they work.

READ BEFORE BUYING! Buy a LED-Bulb-Friendly Relay instead! Less money, Less work!
After changing my bulbs out for LED bulbs, I had the "hyperflash" problem -- and this product looked like an easy fix. I was WRONG. I spent SO MUCH TIME installing, testing, tweaking, and re-testing these resistors and NEVER got the "hyperflash" issue resolved.I wish I had known about this EASY FIX before I went to all the trouble. I purchased a TURN INDICATOR FLASHER RELAY FOR LED BULBS here on Amazon. You can find them for almost every model car. I bought an upgraded one for just $9.97 + tax that has a blink-speed adjustment knob on the top of it..Here's a description of my install process which required NO TOOLS:1) Turn my keys to ACC2) Turn on the turn indicator (to either direction).3) Feel up under the dash and locate the black box with the hyper-flash clicking vibration inside. (This is better than listening for the noise because you can feel it better.)4) Pull the old one out of it's plug-in harness -- and leave the turn indicator on5) Plug the new unit in. As soon as it is seated in its harness, you'll hear the blinker relay clicking at its normal rate.6) This is when, if you bought an adjustable relay, you can turn the knob, listen to the click rate, and set it to your liking. (I prefer my turn indicators to flash a bit faster than normal speed for visibility purposes.)NOTE: I left the resisters I had purchased/installed earlier hooked up to the car when doing the above and removed them later so I could return then to Amazon as ineffective. Even though the crimps looked a bit used, Amazon had to accept the return because the listing said they would work on my car -- and they didn't.My car is a 1999 Toyota 4Runner -- and here 's the unit that I purchased:"New 3-Pin CF-14 CF14 EP35 Adjustable LED Electronic Flasher Relay Fixes Car Turn Signal and Hazard Warn Hyper Blink Flash or No Flashing - Premium Speed Adjustable CF14JL-02 Part by MQparts".This is Amazon ASIN # B0B1VVJLQV.I sincerely hope this helps some of you not fall into the same trap that I did. Best of luck to you all!

I put LED lights on the rear of my 2017 equinox. I had Hyper flash on the turn signal, I ordered the resistors and installed them, it took care of the hyper flash , I would buy them again if need for the front LED'S

Did not work
Figured I would use LEDs in my truck taillights so got these to fix the fast blink and no work at all of the LED bulbs. Did nothing to solve the issues just went back to the standard bulb.
