Pictures don’t do it justice. High quality materials, design, and instructions, but not pet safe enough and not enough quality control. We had to hammer some metal pieces straight so the screws could align with the screw holes. The corners are sharp and the inside door joint has sharp edges and grease all around it. I do not want my cat’s head scraping against that. For how much they paid attention to design, I wishes they went all the way to consider the cats’ safety. Otherwise, beautiful and great piece of furniture designed well for cats’ comfort. I kept one door off to give my cat multiple exits. I wrapped the metal piece the door would’ve covered in bubble wrap so she doesn’t scrape her head and used baby corner guards for the corners of the furniture. I layed a towel over the side to cover the top door joint and removed the second door joint. I love having the top door open. I’m suprised at how useful it is when scooping litter. I prop the door open with furniture instead of the joints. I laid a blanket on top in case my pet wants to rest. Colors are exactly as pictured by seller, not reviewers. I sadly returned this color because it was too rich for my tiny room. I am using the gray/ brown weathered gray one.

Definitely a great addition to any household with a picky cat with high expectations and standards! She’s modest and I don’t want to see a litter box so this is a purrfectt solution for both 😻 Very well made, sturdy, easy to put together but you may need two people to secure the lid! You will have to return this item if you buy it it is defective none of the holes line up. Note: it is over 50 some odd pounds heavy and two person left. This means that unless you can fit a large item and lift over 50 lb by yourself you will not be able to return the item and we'll have wasted all your money having to throw this piece of furniture into the trash. I managed to screw in a total of one screw and could not get a single screw otherwise than that to line up. It is also one of those things where it is impossible to put back in the box the same way that folding a map is impossible to fold making it insanely hard to return and potentially unsafe to try to lift or get it in to your vehicle. I did end up later buying a similar item from the same company at a different selling platform, and that model did work. However this one that I bought here was very clearly defective beyond all reason. Also of note: you do need two people to assemble this safely. You will need one person to hold in alignment the lid while you are trying to attach it due to the fact of the hinges and the weight of the lid.

I purchased the white top-opening unit for my PetSafe ScoopFree Crystal Self-Cleaning Automatic Litter Box, which has to stay in my Living Room. This has a really very nice appearance. I've put together a lot of items THIS was very simple and easy to assemble. You do need your own Phillips screwdriver. All of the holes were perfectly aligned. The instructions tell you to use 2 people to attach the lift lid. I don't have anyone. I took the 2 large pieces of styrofoam packing and laid them on the floor. Then I put the assembled unit back down on a piece of styrofoam, and the lid on the other. Since the holes were so perfectly aligned it was easy to complete the assembly. The lift top mechanism works great. The metal faming came pre-attached. The 2 doors are a single unit. They are aligned and also pre-attached to the black frame. Since they are a single unit, they easily attached to the "cat washroom." As I was putting this together, I noticed that one of the doors had probably been damaged during manufacturing. The damage had been repaired OK, but I had to clean it up a bit, that is why 4 stars not 5. The company does provide an insert with details on how to contact them if you have a problem. I did not consider worth contacting them. I don't think anyone else will notice. This REALLY looks nice. It was so easy. Now my living room won't feel like a litterbox room.

Looks good too! Bummer but after 2 hours putting it together, final part is broken and missing the spring hinge. Update 1: In the age of getting it done... used a piece of paper towel to jam in there in place of missing spring and was able to get hinge to work. Have a request in direct to manufacturer for replacement hinge. Update 2: Company got me new spare part in 3 days via their website. Emailed photo to [email protected] side note - they tell you in instructions that the door can be on either side, but not until you are 3 steps past that decision and have to disassemble everything to change it.

Was able to fit the pet safe scoop free self cleaning litter box in this. No divider but I was able to fit the whole box and cover in. I got the top closing model.

Perfect size for our automatic litter box. It’s sturdy and looks nice. I love that it conveniently opens from the top and front.

Great looking box with a fatal flaw. The top opening lid is secured to a flimsy, pressed-wood material plank that is too small to hold up the weight of the lid. My lid ripped out of this plank in two weeks of opening and closing. I retrofitted mine with a piece of real wood and more screws to hold it tightly and securely. I am still not sure how long this box will last, though. It suits my needs for now, but buyer beware on this- it is flimsy. Other reviews about this issue are true. Too bad.

Easy to put together, Magnetic doors are a lovely touch. I was unsure about getting this as I have a nervous cat but he loves it! Beautiful design for the home and for my cat.

We have had this litter box (the grey/beige one that has a lid that open at the top) for about 2 years now! It still looks brand new and is still in great shape. One of the hinge screws was loose so just check every so often if they need tightening. It looks so good, people think it’s a bench to put coats or purses on and don’t realize it’s a cat litter. The smell is also manageable, especially if you get good litter and put a box of baking soda in there. We have it at the top of the stairs when we come in, which is in the open area before entering the kitchen or the living room and we rarely notice the smell, and one of our cats is suuuuper stinky. I highly recommend this and if ours broke and was beyond repair I would buy it again for sure.

Wish I had found/bought sooner. Screws are grouped and labeled so no guess which screw is required for each step. Relatively easy to put together; 2 people made it easier. Fits the PetSafe auto cleaner perfectly and hides it from sight. I will put a coat or 2 of thick clear coat on the inside to make cleaning easier. Id recommend this product.
