Castor and Pollux ORGANIX Grain Free Small Dog Food Recipe, Organic Dog Food - 4 lb. Bag

I have to say, this is one good dog food. My dog balks at the other brands but dances around my feet while Im making her food and carrying it too her dining area. Sure it's a little pricey but it's worth it to know Im feeding my dog something healthy and she loves it. If your dog rejects it at first, try putting some in a ziplock and adding some water up to the top of the food and let it sit in the fridge overnight to soften. Some dogs enjoy the added flavor of softened food. It smells yummier. Or add a little topper to it for something different.

I have 6 dogs, and I usually cook all their food for them, Chicken breasts ( beef) Flaxseed~ Coconut oil~ Ferro for filler~ Carrots, and broccoli! and Wheat germ~ also Probiotics I put it through the food processorso it is more digestable~ This is Excellent food! High quality!! I am on my 6th bag and have subscribed for our bags to be delivered!

I try to stay away from kibble with grains since it’s challenging to find non-gmo and I notice my fur babies scratch, the more grain products they eat. This product us organic, grain free, small sized for my small dog and she eats it all with no hesitation or complaints. (She’s a little picky.) previous fur baby was more sensitive to grain and he also scratched less when eating this kibble. I will continue to order this product as a subscribe and save.

Our little papillon-chihuahua of 14 years was developing hot spots, particularly one on his chest that appeared to be an open sore. He'd try to lick it but couldn't reach it and that's how I noticed the spot. He'd been eating Halo Spot's Stew (chicken) at the time. So in doing a little researching and looking around, I decided on Castor & Pollux's organic kibble for small breeds. He likes it plenty good on it's own but I do snip up a chicken jerky into tiny bits as a topper. The hot spots went away nearly instantly. I didn't toss out or give the Halo away. I am mixing it at a 2 to 1 ratio w/ the C&P....one scoop Halo to 2 scoops C&P until I use up the Halo. It was interesting that just cutting back that much cleared up the hot spots. He only has 10 teeth now and the kibble size is small and thin and easily eaten. We're on our second 8 lb bag ad will order as long as Buddy contines to do well with a kibble.

I bought this for my new rescue dog to use along with his fresh food. The ingredients are organic, and they start with real meat. I normally add bone broth with it and sometimes, puree pumpkin, yogurt. and blueberries. He loves the taste. Worth the price.

I have a 12 year old Bichon, he is the definition of a picky eater and he actually likes this food. I started buying it because his groomer adviced me to get him grain free food, he was suffering from severe hot spots, I tried to feed him different organic foods to try to find out what was giving him allergies but nothing worked until I switched to this brand. As soon as we switched him to this food his hot spots disappeared, he also lost some weight which was needed and his arthritis got better too, I'm just so happy I found this brand, I told his vet about it and she actually adviced me to stop giving it to him because she says there's new studies claiming a grain free diet is unhealthy for your dogs....well I didn't stop because I saw how good it had been for my dog and when we went to get his annual exams his labs came back PERFECT. He even went under anesthesia for some teeth work and his heart was strong enough like that of a younger dog, my Buddy is so much healthier ever since eating this food that I don't see myself switching to anything else. Oh I also bought him the wet food from this brand as well after his teeth work and he loved it too so now I sometimes mix some wet and dry food to change things a bit for him. I think that with all the love he gets and this healthy food Buddy will last a very long time.

My dog it’s eating good. She is been eating it for months. She has sensitive stomach, most of time it’s fine.

Both my dogs are very picky eaters. My min pin only eats Orijen kibble but when she tasted castor & Pollux she gobbled it. My new puppy has been through 6 different kibbles When she first tasted Castor & Pollux our search for what she liked was over. Highly Recommend

This food has been enjoyed by our little pomeranian for a number of years but is unavailable in our area at this time. As a result I have had to switch him to another food and, although the price seemed quite high, I was hoping to do this gradually with this order. Unfortunately we have run out of this brand of food that we had left remaining and the new, expensive bag has not yet been delivered.
