Quality seems good, taste kinda like egg whites, if your looking to use it as a dye it works great for that! Stains and dyes well lol!

Very fine charcoal powder, works well for it's uses, but the bag sucks at sealing, so it will get charcoal dust everywhere if you don't put it in a different bag

I manufacture herbal medicinal tinctures and use Activated Charcoal as a layer on top of a layer of Diatomaceous Earth in my Buchner Funnel to purify the tincture and remove chlorophyll and other underwater plant products. It is also suitable for brushing your teeth. This Activated Charcoal is a great value. Tip: Be careful, as it's a very fine particulate product, and you can end up with a mess of black if you are not careful.

This is a great form of activated charcoal for a variety of applications. It is extremely fine, with a very high surface area. I use it in the lab to clean up many different solutions in prior to filtration. It absorbs a lot of impurities and acts as a filtration aid. My favorite use of it, however, is in my cat's litter boxes, in conjuction with baking soda. It is absolutely amazing at eliminating odor. I add about 1/4 cup of the charcoal powder to each litter box, and then a bit more each time I add more litter. It turns the litter dark gray and extends the life of the litter dramatically. My cats love the stuff. I have much less problem now with them 'not burying' their feces at times.
