These rolls of chiffon ribbon are almost identical to that used by my seamstress grandmother 50+ years ago. Hers was a bit heavier weight, but the feel, the look, and the texture are all the same. This ribbon is absolutely stunning. I kind of hate to have to use it. I bought the greens, and they are all beautiful. I love that the ribbons are tied with a narrow piece of chiffon to hold it together; no pins are used that would damage it. I originally purchased this for gift-wrapping but I feel that it's almost too beautiful for that. I plan on using it for something more permanent like flower arrangements. It is truly gorgeous ribbon and very well done.
