TRANSFORMER AC TRI-VOLT PLUG IN 8-16-24 VAC 5205

This is one of the very few doorbell transfomers available to consumers that is properly designed. With 120 VAC in, the open circuit voltage is 17.1 VAC on the 16 V terminals, an acceptable value for a nominal 16 VAC circuit. Most of the cheapo imports from China that are sold today have open circuit voltages of 22+ VAC even though they are labeled "16 VAC". This is WAY too high! Unlike the cheapo ones, this transformer won't burn out your doorbell push-button lights.

Well built and smaller then others I have used. Plugged it in to my smart doorbell directly without any resistors.
