This is one of the best mattress protectors I’ve ever purchased and used so far, and it’s incredibly cost-effective!I’m now regretting the UTOPIA protector I bought a few months ago on Amazon. I saw UTOPIA has the most reviews so purchased it, but it was just okay so a few days ago when I found this on sale, I tried this brand - so worth it!!Compared to UTOPIA, this one fits the mattress more snugly, and the built-in waterproof layer seems more durable. Most importantly, this one is also cheaper - truly a great value for the price. I’ll likely stick with this brand from now on.

I'd give this 10 stars if I could , in fact I am buying another one . Soft , quiet and water proof . Fits our S&F Estate King mattress like a glove . Long story short , we had a accident last night and couldn't change out sheets until morning . Was pleased to find that the mattress was as new , nothing got through , this mattress protector has been machine washed and dried several times and still did the job !

This mattress protector has great coverage. It fits fine on our 4” mattress. We’ve washed it several times without issue, and just purchased an extra.

I ordered two of these a while back, one for a queen and the other a king size bed. My daughter has had one accident since putting it on her bed. I washed it on gentle, and hung it to dry. I didn't want to risk it in the dryer, even on the "no heat" option.The protector kept the matress dry, but did stain (I'm sure that's with any cover I assume). It did not fall apart in the wash, and once it dried, back on the bed it went.Im giving a four star review due to the fact that it's a tad bit loose. It doesn't hug the corners of the matress very tight, which seems fine for my daughter and myself, but my husband is a toss and turn sleeper sometimes, so his corner pops off often. Also, I wouldn't put sheet holds on it, due to the fact that the material that stretches to keep it on the corners is thin, and I feel it would tear easily with extra strain on it.With all of that said, it's a good buy for the price. Perfect for a guest bed, a child, and a sound sleeper!

Excellent coverage of the sides of the mattress, an area many mattress protectors fail to consider since most only cover the top. When a person is sitting on the edge any accident can leak past the top protection and soak the side.

This does prevent water (or urine) from leaking through. this is my second purchase, because the waterproof function will not work forever! After about 150 washes it will become more porous. To extend the life, I wash in cold and air dry. (If you have to machine dry, use lowest heat setting) it fits snugly, is comfortable to sleep on as an actual sheet as there is a brushed polyester feel to the top, and is very quiet! Used for child who occasionally bedwets.

I don't know what I expected getting a waterproof mattress protector, but don't assume that this is going to provide miracles.It's plastic with a layer of soft fabric on top, so yes it feels soft to the touch when you rub it, but the plastic is still noticeable. This plastic is not stretchy, so your mattress will feel firmer to lie down on. The plastic creates friction from rubbing against your mattress when you toss and turn in bed, so the mattress protector will be noisy whenever you move. It's waterproof, so it is not a breathable material. Meaning if you get hot at night, the mattress protector will make it worse.I should have predicted this for any waterproof (aka plastic) mattress protector, but it's just not my cup of tea.

We just bought one of those bed-in-a-box kits from Amazon, and a lot of the reviews recommended a mattress protector. We have two dogs and two cats, all getting up there in years, so unfortunately accidents will happen once or twice a year. We have a portable wet/dry cleaner for such situations, but the new mattress is memory foam, and I wasn't sure if even a wet/dry vac would be able to fully get through 10 inches of memory foam.I was a little worried because some of the reviews mentioned this protector only being waterproof on the top, but the one we received was waterproof on the top and all four sides. It is large and stretchy enough to cover a mattress even taller than the one we got, so if you have a 12 or 14 inch mattress it should likely fit it as well.Another thing to note is that while it does use plastic as a waterproofing layer, it does not crinkle, isn't noisy, and doesn't create the discomfort you may have seen with similar mattress protectors. Honestly we don't even notice it's there, since we have a regular fitted sheet over top of it. Best of all, it is washer safe, so if one of our elderly pets does have an accident, we can toss the sheet and sheet protector in the wash without worry.
