3M Primer 94 1/2 Pint | Car Wrapping Application Tool

If you are doing a vinyl wrap, this is the product you have to have. Price is irrelevant since you have no choice. do you need it because you want to do it right and hopefully you can score a good deal on the price. I will say this, a little bit truly goes a long way and the amount that I bought while it seemed small, it’s probably enough to do, 50 of my projects. I’m pleased with the outcome having never done a project like this before. It’s far from perfect, but that’s probably got a lot more to do with me than the product itself.

If you are needing something to repair an existing sticker adhesion issue or wrapping a car and need extra holding power around wheel well openings or door jambs this is the best stuff there is. Use sparingly and keep the lid on it as it will evaporate quickly.

I ordered 3M Primer 94, but what I received was labeled 3M Tape Primer 94.I believe this is the identical product, simply with different labeling.I will be using this product for enhancing the adhesive tack of my vinyl wrap on the wheel wells of my truck as I am wrapping it myself and do not want it to fail from exposure to the abuse that that specific area receives.I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for permanent adhesion of this kind. 😄

I received the primer but not an application tool. The title of this is misleading to buyers. I wrote to customer service and they responded quickly about this. They explained that the section where it says "Car Wrapping Application Tool" is the category in which the Primer is under. This product is great for any type of dash kit installation. I bought this because I wasn't satisfied with the amount that I was given for my kit since I wanted to apply this everywhere.

Very happy with the results!! I had a few things I couldn't get wrap to stick to and this was the solution! I use it on everything that has a tape or glue I want to have a secure stick. Beware once you apply this and lay down your wrap it will be extremely difficult to remove and you will more than likely tear your wrap so experience wrapping first is a must so lifting and reapplying is at an absolute minimum. This is my second can and I will continue to use as long as I'm wrapping difficult materials.

This product was recommended by the company I bought my "sea decking" type flooring from for the swim deck on my Sea Ray Sundancer. It was easy to apply, and even though the can was much smaller than I expected, there was more than enough and plenty left over to do the rest of the flooring next year.

Aside from feeling a bit dazed and confused while using this product because of the fumes, it is great and holds nice and tight to edges while applying wrap to a golf cart, atv or UTV. Change my life forever! Highly recommend! My neighbors actually talk to me now, the missing link I was looking for!
