Calphalon Classic Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware

I've purchased Calphalon pans in the past. I have some from 25 years ago. I decided to get this big chef's pan and Calphalon, like everything else, has made great strides in the past quarter century. I had no idea. The new Calphalon has an incredible coating. It's as good as these "diamond" non stick pans that make the food taste rubbery. I'm thinking of getting a whole new set of Calphalon because I like this one pan so much. The lid is great. You can see everything cooking. The pan itself is large and deep, so you can make dishes with a sauce, like coq au vin. I got it on sale so the price was great. No complaints.

We love these pans and use them daily - that probably why over time the inside became worn and we had to purchase a new one. Great skillet that holds a lot. Perfect for one pot meals, homemade spaghetti sauce, frying potatoes and eggs for a big breakfast, roux or gravy. The handle on the opposite side of the pan helps when pouring.

Durable and well made.

We have previously had this same Calphalon product for several years, but the nonstick coating was coming off the center, and the bottom had warped from overheating, so we ordered the new version. It is just as versatile, but the older version had a rubberized coating on the lid handle, and also on the pan handle, which kept them from getting so hot to the touch. The only negative about this product is that the handles do get hot to the touch, so a hotpad is needed.

I love the size of this skillet. It is very versatile because it can go in the oven. The clear lid it very helpful.

I had a Caphalon pan just like this one for over 10 years and loved the size of it and how it handled. The only problem was my old one was well beyond it's usable life as the non stick coating was pretty much non existent. Finally replaced it with this one, and should have done it a long time ago! The non stick surface works amazing and it is super easy to clean. Time will tell to see how long it lasts this time around.

I love Calphalon pans. They cook so evenly and are easy to use. This one is a great size and quickly became my go to with its high edges and lid. My one con is that I’m not strong enough to lift with one hand if the pan is full, but I guess that’s my own problem

I use this pan for everything! It has made cooking a pleasure again. It is light weight, glass top so you can see what's going without opening the top. So happy I bought this and threw out that 25 year old one.
