EU electrical plug, not UAE
Machine is provided with type F schuko plug, not a UAE-compatible plug. While not a big issue, this should be clearly listed and it isn't. It should really be illegal to sell incompatible appliances in UAE without mentioning that fact.

The coffee machine, made by Krupps is straightforward excellent quality and was a good price on Amazon. It holds 1 litre and works well just like the similar one we are replacing after many years which is also Nespresso. There are ten pods in the box. The reason I have knocked a star off is because it comes with info stating that there are 100 free pods on registering. This didn’t work out for us as it became complicated and was a way of getting us to sign up and buy some first with no info forthcoming as to what we would buy or what we would get. It kept glitching so i gave up. I am happy with the machine and DIDN’t APPRECIATE BATTLING WITH THEIR WEBSITE TO BUY AND GET SOMETHING THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN SOMETHING WE DIDN’t WANT. I JUST WANTED A COFFEE MACHINE WITH NO COMPLICATIONS.

We had the older 'pixie' model for about 5 years at it was exactly what we needed. Unfortunately a cheap internal part failed rendering it useless so we needed a replacement that took the older classic pods. This is an upgrade in so many ways. In terms of looks, it's much more elegant and refined, with the materials feeling solid and very well put together. Noise wise it's a little quieter but definitely vibrates less that our older one. Very easy to use and we find that we can get more coffee out of each pod that the older model too. The only minor issue I had was trying to claim the 100 free pods when you place an order with Nespresso. I tried the day it arrived but has a message saying 'the product and / or vendor are not eligible for this offer'. When I tried again the next day it worked. Not sure why, but that meant buying 10 pods got an extra 100 free, which makes the overall cost of the machine even better value!
