Most important is learning how to play the bowls.
I have 2 room mates and we each have a bowl. We've been learning how to use them individually and the other night we got together and played our own bowls together. It took a couple of tries, but when we all got together, the sound was incredible! We all got a feeling of calmness......the dog was calm and the whole house had a mello energy it never had before.So, I guess you could say......I love my bowls!

No mallet
I would have given this 5 stars, it is a great singing bowl. However, when I opened the box, there wasn't a mallet with the bowl. I looked in the rest of my Amazon box, no mallet. Now I will have to either return and replace or buy a mallet separately....

Bowl all scrated up, bag has dirt/dust/lent on it and smells. Just horrible.
I was really looking forward to my bowl but when it came the bowl was scratched up like it has been in use for a long time and the bag was covered in dust and lent like it has been in storage for 50 years. At least the little pillow was wrapped and brand new. Just horrible!, I am so disappointed. I returned it immediately and will be ordering from a different vendor.

The bowl does not make a long resonating sound. I was disappointed that this bowl didn't work well. I have a crystal singing bowl and it works better than this item. I'll stick with crystal singing bowls from now on. Also the lint on the stick does not help.

Not bad for.the price
Very crisp sound. I use it in my counseling sessions. Clients like to listen to it and use it themselves.

Good enough to go on my altar
Great sound for a small bowl, holds a tone for a really long time after you take away the striker (works better with my padded leather striker) So nice that I purchased another one just like it as a gift for a fellow yoga teacher

Great gift for someone that has everything.
Bought as a gift for the uncle that has everything . He loved it . Very well made and packaged came in a little pouch , works well and looks good on a shelf or table .

Little Singing Bowl, A Big Heart.
I have tried another bowl from Amazon. It was a non-singing bowl.This little bowl however, sings it's heart out. Beautiful packaging and a wonderful sound that resonated long after. I don't know what pitch but the vibration affected my shoulders and above. I love it.
