This journal is ok. It is not leather, it feels a bit cheap. The paper inside is white, lined and on the thick side which is nice. I would say it would be good for general note taking or lists. Not anything “special”.

Solid notebook, but NOT a "pen holder" on it. You have to force the pen inside of the clasp that closes it. As for the pen, it's somewhat inconsistent when writing, so you may want a backup.
