Works perfectly with PS5
I purchased this to replace my Astro PS5 adapter since I was unable to achieve 1440p while using my A40 TR with mixamp. Worked as expected. I still need to play with the switches to see what is the optimal setting. I highly recommend if you are looking for an audio extractor and using multiple devices with multiple displays.

PS5 and Xbox Series X
TLDR: it didn’t work at first. Cycled power and now it seems to be working.I bought this because most of the time I use my big screen for either the Xbox or the PS5. I have more than one screen set up and occasionally I want to play on the smaller screen or want both Xbox and PS5 on to play with someone else at the same time. When I first turned it on I could only get one output working. A few power cycles later and it worked but was a frustrating start. Will continue to monitor going forward. If it requires a manual unplug every time to reset then I’ll end up returning it. For now since it works but wasn’t flawless 4 stars

1440p 120hz - Xbox Series X
If you're looking to play next gen consoles at higher resolutions / frame rate then this is the product for you. I can confirm I am able to play on 1440p 120hz without issue using this matrix. If you're like me, you'll find there's a lot of products on here that claim they can do this, but few actually do. This is one of them. Worked right out of the box with no issues. Highly recommend.

Best solution for watching content on multiple displays
This is a fantastic device that acts like a Swiss army knife for people with multiple displays. On Sundays, it's fantastic for watching different football games on each display. I have an Nvidia Shield as one input device and an Apple TV as another, so this box allows me to output both sources to their own display, and switch the sources/displays with the press of a button instead of having to re-wire my HDMI cables any time I want to make a change. This alone is fantastic, but this matrix also packs HDMI 2.1 support, and can pass through Dolby Vision and HDR10, which is fantastic as someone who also loves to watch movies. I'd also like to add that CEC has seemed to work for me with this matrix. It's not officially listed as supported anywhere, but turning on my Nvidia Shield/Apple TV has also resulted in the television that the device is "connected" to also powering on, which is great and extremely convenient since it means you don't need to use multiple remotes. The only drawback I have seen is issues with ARC and eARC, but that should not be problematic unless you need those features for your sound system. I would also recommend that users use some kind of command strip or zip tie to keep this box in place. It is much smaller and lighter than what I would have anticipated (I hadn't looked at the dimensions before ordering) and with so many HDMI cables connected to it, it might not sit perfectly flat in place without some help. Overall, it's a fantastic product I am happy to recommend.

Claims 4k at 120 HZ but does not work
Very bold claim to say the device supports a matrix at 4k @ 120 HZ when many producers of these video switches say the chips they're getting are not capable of handling the bandwidth reliably. Sure enough, this matrix does not sufficiently support 4k @ 120 HZ.A number of times after using an Xbox Series X running a game at 4k @ 120 HZ (with HDR) for a few hours there were signs the matrix was not capable of handling the bandwidth. Severe screen tearing and times were output to the monitor were completely disabled. Messing with the EDID DIP did not render much different results. Output still failed after a few hours of playing.Running at 1080p @ 30 HZ wasn't an issue but I don't think most people want to pay $100+ for a matrix that only does 1080p at 30 HZ.I would not buy this device for 4k @ 120 HZ if you want a reliable device. If you're ok with not seeing what you're playing for long durations I would highly suggest this product.

A versatile and reliable switcher
OREI has been my go-to brand for switchers and more due to its excellent quality control (I haven't encountered any issues so far) and durability. This switch has consistently delivered the functionality I need for audio and video needs. With support for up to 4K resolution at 120Hz, it provides impressive visual clarity and smooth playback of high-definition content. Whether I'm watching movies or my brother is playing graphics-intensive games, it consistently delivers a crisp and vibrant display. The inclusion of an audio extractor is a valuable feature, as it allows me to extract the audio signal from the HDMI source and connect it to external speakers or audio systems. This significantly enhances the audio experience by enabling connectivity with dedicated audio devices or amplifiers.Additionally, the switch's IR (Infrared) functionality allows for convenient remote control operation. After using it for over 9 months, I can confidently recommend this switch for anyone in need of a 4K HDMI Matrix Switch 2 X 2.OREI continues to impress me with its reliable products, and this switch is no exception. It provides the desired functionality, excellent visual performance, and added convenience through its audio extraction and remote control capabilities.
