It has been a long time since I have crocheted anything and in two moves I only have one or two crochet hooks left, so this set in a beautiful purple zipper pouch is a perfect replacement set for me. We have a new baby great grandchild and I want to make a handmade crochet blanket for her. I still have several books and every Monday morning a group of women meet in a knitting and crocheting circle so I have help in the community to help me remember all the stitches and techniques. This kit contains a measuring gauge, closing scissors and clips to hold stitches for making baby clothes after I get the basic stitches back in my memory. The range of sizes of the cooks will also be useful when I weave and need to hide start and stop threads when the colors change in a design. Now I just need to make a trip to the store for yarn for my blanket project to get started next Monday with making the blanket for the most beautiful great granddaughter ever.

I want to start to crochet again and wasn't sure what sizes I would need now and in the future so I decided to cover all bases and get this set of 22 crochet needles. The set comes with a lot of extras, namely a needle gauge ruler, a u-type scissors with cover, an aluminum stitch holder, a stitch counter, plastic embroidery needles, and plastic locking stitch markers. The crochet needles are neatly held in slots on 2 sides inside a compact purple PU leather case. The case does the job in keeping the the tools together, but it is just ok in make and quality. The purple case does smell of chemicals as it came packed in a plastic bag, but I am thinking it will fade with some airing out.

This is the best little set of crochet hooks that I have come across! It is 22 needles from size 0.6mm to 6.5mm. All of the hooks are made from metal and nice high quality metal. It comes with eye hooks for finishing sewing in lines, a stitch counter, a super cool yarn cutter, ruler, and hooks for cabling. I love that it comes in a little zip up pouch. I am notorious for leaving my crochet hooks places, and not being able to easily find them later. This little case allows me to keep track of all of them in one location! Definitely a great buy for those that love to crochet!
