Donald: The Book (Classics) Hardcover – September 1, 2017

Can I just say that I would love to call Donald my friend? He is witty, clever, full of energy and endlessly creative! The compilation of his work in this book show the exhaustive nature of his talent. His work is bold, colorful and sometimes outright hilarious! I loved reading about his background and the experiences that led to his current role as the Creative Director of Estée Lauder and the Instagram sensation he is. It is encouraging to know that someone from the suburbs can have such an extraordinary life. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in contemporary art and the fashion world. Five stars!

from gaffer tape to wise words and lots and lots of fun...this book is a party...it is one of my favorite ones!!inspired by every image and the surprises as i turn each page...donald you are amazing!!...and so fun to explore and to engage!!waiting for this for awhile but oh so worth the wait!!this collection of colorfull is simply, incredibly great!!i have admired donald robertson for quite some time now...and to follow him on instagram daily is to receive an everyday pow!!the way he views the world is just so fresh and new...and his art pieces, his family and friends...just amazing too!!so if this peaks your interest and you want to read this book...it will not disappoint!!...you really should take a look!!

The media could not be loaded.  My expectations were unrealistically high for this book arrival & honestly I was prepared to be disappointed, but I WAS NOT! I was completely blown away as I flipped through this book from cover to cover. DR is without question the most wicked good & influential artist of our time! He's up there w/ my favs: Pollock, Calder, Koons & Warhol. His creations are always simply brilliant & this book captured his ingenuity & certified RADNESS! (Video from his Brentwood, CA signing!)

I have been a fan of Donald since early 2013! I have been waiting for this book for YEARS! It is so fun to see all my favorite works finally come together in this AMAZING publication! Your collection is not complete without this!! However I am bias because the work I titled is included #Kermés!!!Okay stop reading this review already and freaking buy Donald's book!! Buy two!! Buy them all and use the pages as wallpaper!!!

I have been following Drawbertson on Instagram for about a year and a half now. Since then I have been OBSESSED with his account, his family and his artwork. Out of excitement, I ordered the book 2 months in advance as my mom's Christmas gift (she is equally as obsessed) but couldn't wait until then to give it to her. She and I are now wishing we had 2 books -- one to keep and the other to cut up and hang the illustrations all over are houses. The book is beautifully put together, highlighting so much of Donald's seemingly never-ending talent. I could spend hours looking at the book and never get tired of it. Thank you Donald and thank you Assouline for your wonderful work. If you don't already own this book order one (or two) NOW!

I have been a fan for a few years. Was lucky to buy his shoes and now his book. Bright colors, amazing art work, perfect coffee table book. He also is fun to follow on IG.

If you buy 1 art book this year or ever, it should be Donald: the Book. In fact, buy 2 — 1 for the coffee table, and another so you can frame a page or 2 or 3. (That’s what I’m doing with the Linda Rodin sketch.) It’s fun, not snobby or pretentious, beyond inspiring. Donald will so nourish your need for creative expression, you may never look at a pizza box in the same way.
