4K Mirror Dash Cam, ThiEYE 10" Full Touch Screen Front and Rear Dash Camera for Cars, Dual Lens Rear View Mirror Camera with Night Vision, 170° Angle, G-Sensor, Voice Control, Parking Monitoring & GPS

After my son had an accident recently, and then within 5 days of getting back on the road was rear-ended on the approach to the roundabout by an idiot who then reversed and sped of without stopping I decided I needed to take action and fit every car in the family with a dash cam. I started researching them in detail, suction cup ones with small screens, small ones with no screens, rear view mirror ones etc. In the end I decided to try two rear view mirror types as well as a small one with no screen. I wanted 4K resolution and front and rear cameras. The small one has yet to be installed but the 4K ThiEYE 10" Full Touch Screen Front and Rear Dash cam kit have been installed and I have to say it's amazing. It's transformed the whole driving experience. I would never use a standard rear view mirror again as this camera rear view gives you so much more both night and day. The camera quality of the ThiEYE is excellent as is the night vision quality both back and front. Number plates can be read without any difficulty day and night. The controls are easy to use, and the inclusion of voice control is a really nice touch. The other rear view mirror type I tried out had no voice control and is a notch below this one because of it. Being able to switch screen views and turn screen on and off and lock video with a voice command is fantastic. It's quite a distraction having to do this on the other one by buttons on the touchscreen while driving (could end up causing an accident myself that way!) There are many plus points to this piece of kit but for me the camera quality, overall size, shape, night vision quality, and voice control are the top scoring features. For anyone considering a dash cam and not knowing which type of model to go for I would highly recommend a rear view mirror type and this model especially. Do not go for one without voice control as you will regret it. 5 stars for this device without any hesitation, and happy to answer any questions.

Rubbish don’t buy. Never recorded the 24/7 only record when it want. Missing most of the files and I bought two of them and not happy. Pretty sure they are others company with better products.

I bought 2 of them for me and my husband. Unfortunately I had to send them back. One was not recording audio and would not make any sounds. The other one will not record all the time while driving, will record only randomly. I had 2 possible incidents and I checked the video but nothing was recorded. Luckily we didn't hit each other otherwise I would not have a proof of no fault.

As an owner of the Thieye Dash Cam 3, I decided to upgrade to the Dash Cam 4. The screen was much clearer and brighter than the previous model, incorporating a useful extension camera (4k front cam) that allows for a great view of the road. The full touch screen made setup quite easy, and the footage was very clear. Additionally, it records GPS location as well. Both front and back cameras are wide-angle, which is helpful for when parking. Even at night, the footage is clear due to the night vision feature. Overall, this is a nice solution as it serves as both a rear-view mirror camera and a dash cam in one. Furthermore, the cable between the back camera and front camera is quite long, so there was no issue connecting in vans or long estate car. The rear camera can be mounted either inside or outside the car. Overall, this has been an awesome buy all around.

The Dash Cam fails to record when driving the amber light for recording is constantly on The product only records while the vehicle was stationary. This makes the dash cam pretty useless as it failed to do what says on the box. Despite numerous emails to Thieye support team and Amazon support team I have had no replies. This is more disappointing than the product not working. You can’t phone you can only email so completely at their mercy. I will return the product and buy the Wolf dash cam. But I will be out of pocket as I had the dash cam hardwired in. Bitterly disappointed in this product and the alleged support team that are supposed to be their for their clients.
