A year ago I purchased 2 Xega cameras and installed them at a property in another country, no wiring involved as 100% solar powered. Installation was quite straightforward but please note that when entering your WiFi name and password during camera setup you MUST physically type this as the camera will not connect if you type once and attempt to copy/paste. I was so satisfied with these Xega cameras that I purchased 4 more bringing a total of 6 cameras which now cover every area of my property. They have been functioning perfectly and the battery in each camera has never gotten below 100% even after several days of rain and no sunshine. You really cannot beat these Xega cameras as they still work well with a poor wifi connection and the price is very affordable compared with other brands. The only issue I had was when trying to share the 6 cameras with my wife. I contacted the customer service staff and received a prompt reply from "Rebecca" who explained what I had to do in a clear and easy way to understand. I followed Rebecca's instructions and my wife can now view all the cameras as a "Family Member " and she can tilt, panel, zoom, take photos or videos and also talk and listen through the cameras with ease. I highly recommend Xega for your CCTV needs, you will not be disappointed. Rest assured that any questions you may have will be answered promptly, in my case Rebecca replied with a few hours! My neighbour was also impressed with my cameras and has now purchased 4 Xega cameras for his own home. His are a slightly different model to mine as there is a good selection of Xega cctv cameras to choose from depending on your own preferences and requirements.

I bought these,X2 cameras for £120 to cover the back and front of my property after my iGeeks failed after 12 months. These are far better. The cameras are well packaged and all fittings and fixtures are supplied. They are all ready mounted onto a plastic housing which can be fixed in a vertical or horizontal plane. They don't weigh a great deal, but do the purpose. The instructions aren't the best, but the set up via the app is pretty straightforward . What I was surprised with is the range they cover, my rear camera is in an awkward area, but works well considering the distance. The pan/ tilt/ zoom is great, the solar panels charge them in no time and picture quality is good. The rubber grommet for the SD card is decent too.. it took me a while to find it as it's so well incorporated into the design..water ingress shouldn't be as issue. Only negatives for me are the solar panel mounts, bit flimsy, but do they do the job as the panels don't weigh much. The panels themselves are decent quality. Overall, for the money and features, you'd be hard pressed to find better in my honest opinion.

Very pleased with purchase, easy to setup camera quality is high, with great resolution day or night with zoom in features, motion detection is good with flexible settings to reduce sensitivity or turn off unnecessary notifications. Continuous charge using solar ensures battery doesn’t run down. High quality product, suitable for all weather use as It’s been more than 2 years since purchase and units are still working well and company also offers good after sales support. Particularly found Kiki to be prompt in response and offering useful guidance. I will definitely be purchasing more products from this company.

Initially disappointing, but after a few weeks it has proved successful - & good value too. Can only be used via the phone app - doesn't interact with Alexa, Home or anything else. However, it's easy to set up via the app & has a decent real-time picture. Activity can be saved to cloud (which I don't want) & to SD card. I can look at activations via a calendar in the app. Movement alert works well after adjustments. Initially suffered from false activations, but turned out to be caused by birds. Turned down the sensitivity & all is well. It takes a few weeks of adjustments to see what works best. At £99 for 2 I'm very pleased with them & would recommended them. Also, the support I've received from Xega has been very good. They suggested adjustments to the settings & position which was very helpful. I don't use the intercom facility, but I tried it out & it worked well.

I bought three of them a year ago and they work great. No issues connecting with WiFi and it maintain connecting, picture quality is good day or night, great live view, motion detection works well depending on you're setting in the app and the sound quality is good both ways. The battery life is good aswell, no sun for a week the battery went down to 70% due to heavy usage but it chargers pretty quick once the sun hit the solar panel. The cloud service is reasonably and the images get updated instantly so you can see what's going on, I tried SD card but personally I didn't like it due to that fact that it take longer to load. After a year I had a little issue with one of the camera I contacted customer service and after few chats on the app followed by few emails they replaced it with a new one and gave me a year cloud for free, I'm happy with that. For the price I think it's a pretty decent camera and it does what it should be doing.

Purchased the Sega 2 Pack Smart Solar Security Cameras and have installed them externally on a property in West Coast of Scotland. They were easy to install and connect to Wifi - and have functioned exceptionally well - through all types of weather - continuously providing excellent functionality - highly recommended ! One of the solar panels developed a problem after 6-7 months - the customer support agent (Kiki) was exceptional - going beyond normal levels of customer service - she guided me through various options and eventually sent through an upgraded solar panel - which was easy to install and works well. I can not fault this company and its team. Highly recommended !

I bought a pair of these cameras to monitor the entrance and exit to my property. They have been in situ for several months and tolerated hideous weather through winter (I live in an exposed mountainous area). They were easy to install and connect to WiFi and the picture/video is good quality. At first I used the free cloud service and later inserted SIM cards. I was initially concerned that they wouldn’t receive sufficient sunlight to charge via solar panel as it is frequently cloudy where I live. However, the batteries always show 100% despite the cameras being triggered frequently by movements. Good points for me: 1. I get a warning sound when there is movement in the driveway to my house, which means I am alerted on my mobile phone when anyone arrives. I run a holiday accommodation so it’s important in order that I know when someone arrives in order to greet them. 2. Ease of setup and good connectivity to WiFi. 3. Ability to look outside to see weather conditions, exterior lighting or anything going on without even being at home (this was helpful when I was in town and it snowed heavily at my house, therefore I knew I wouldn’t be able to arrive in my car!) 4. The camera has a powerful built in light you can switch on or off to illuminate the area but the night vision is particularly good without the light. 5. Customer service is very attentive and helpful. When I had a problem with my SIM card in one of the cameras (Joey) assisted me immediately and rectified the problem rapidly providing support through the built in messaging function in the app. The only negative I have with the cameras is their sensitivity to react or moreso, lack of ability to select objects to ignore. It is often windy and the cameras movement sensor is triggered by the leaves on trees and plants moving in the wind (I’ve tried the sensitivity settings but this applies to everything and is not specific). This can be so annoying at times with a notification popping up every few seconds that I have to disable the notifications which means I could miss something I want to know about. For the price, ease of use through a simple phone app and the peace of mind of knowing movements in and out of my property I’m hugely impressed with these little cameras. I’m going to be buying at least one more!

Facile a installer on perce on fixe prévoir une bonne exposition pour le panneau solaire perso je suis plein sud au top Personnellement la caméra n'est jamais descendu en dessous des 100 % Super zoom qualité HD une tueurie Petite précision mon chien peut se balader dans le jardin ça ne déclenche pas la caméra Caméra étanche bonne éclairage de la LED dès qu'elle détecte quelque chose la nuit elle s'allume Vous pouvez partir en vacances l'esprit tranquille dès que la caméra détecte je reçois la notification sur mon téléphone et ce qui est top c'est que j'ai de l'interaction je peux leur parler avec des gens bienveillants ex livreurs poste comme les malveillants qui seront que je les ai vus et que je les entends plus qu'à prévenir mon voisin( qui est chasseur ça aide 🤣🤣) pour faire fuir les intrus petite précision vous avez possibilité de partager vos caméras avec votre voisin ce qui fait qu'il peut surveiller votre maison sans se déplacer gros plus possibilité d'enregistrer sur une carte SD ou de prendre un abonnement il se trouve que c'est un super produit ne pas oublier de le recharger à la maison avant de le fixer au mur connexion Wi-Fi si vous avez des murs épais comme mon vieux corps de ferme ne les mettez pas trop loin car au niveau du réseau cela peu pêcher personnellement elles sont fixées à plus d'une vingtaine de mètres de ma box et tout marche bien réseau fibre et

These cameras are worth every cent. They are high quality and hold up very well. I have purchased a total of 6 solar cameras. 1 runs on Cellular Service aim a remote location in the mountains where the temperature gets in the single digits with snow. ZERO problems. The others are in the city and run on WiFi. Same quality. Initially Customer Service helped me out with some minor issues. She was AWESOME! Went above and beyond. If all Customer Service Representatives were like Annabelle this would be an amazing world. Customer Service Representative contacted me as a courtesy regarding my camera’s functionality. I told my Representative about some issues with 2 of my 6 cameras. They were fast to make things right. I really appreciate the professional and courteous service they provide. I’m staying with Xega 100%. Thank you Xega

Ill review again after a bit of time however. I am cameraman for a national TV network and understand cameras somewhat.. I was not expecting these to be as good as they are. Im Very impressed with this level of tech for the price. These cameras have a great range of field without distorting images, they have what seems to be a very apt sensor that shows great colour/tones/detail in images. They are highly responsive to commands, pan til etc and software is very easy it pretty much is just 'plug and play' I am also impressed with the battery life. I've been running mine for two days now with no charge, as Im testing their longevity. I'm currently using them on a plank of wood and have been moving them around to various locations indoors and out. Their field of view is fantastic , I am very surprised with the detail they offer. For about $65 a camera these really are a Bargain. I'll review in 6 months after they have been outdoors but for the money, it's a no brainer! Yes there are better cameras out there with perfect clarity and much greater capacity but you will pay 100s of dollars more. So for what this gives, I believe it's enough for the purposes of identification safety and monitoring.

I purchased these in 2023. They are still working great. I use them to watch animals near our property. I keep it in night mode. No colour. Not sure it matters for battery but it's my preference.
