The Wasid 2000 dehumidifier has been AMAZING. It keeps the humidity down in a 1200 sq.ft appartment very easily so it feels cooler when it is hot and humid and warmer when it is cold and humid, this way the AC runs less and the expenditures are reduced. It is really quiet with a nice design and small frame, usually such powerful dehumidifiers are really big and bulky. The auto drain and auto-shut off features work perfectly and the tank is easy to remove. It has a drying mode so clothes can be air-dried if you don't want to use the dryer, especially for few items, so this mode is a cost-effective alternative to a dryer. Very satisfied with this purchase, it works like a charm, it is compact, powerfull, and cost-effective. Love it!

I loved this dehumidifier as soon as I started using it. It’s small and quiet and perfect for our space. Living in the south we have an excess of humidity and this handles it well. We dump the bucket daily. My main praise though is the company really stands by their product. The unit started to drip/leak about 8 months into its life (of constant daily use) and the seller promptly sent me a new one. Mechanical things break which is not unexpected but I will continue to support a company that upholds their warranty! I would recommend this dehumidifier wholeheartedly (and I have several times) knowing that if you do have an issue, you can reach an actual person who will actually help you.

This is my first dehumidifier purchase so I have nothing really to compare this against. However I'm very satisfied with the product build and performance so far.Pros: Does a great job in pulling water out. I set this up in a medium sized finished basement (2 small rooms, 1 bathroom, 1 laundry room all open to each other). The starting humidity was 78 but this brought it down to 65 in 2-3 hours! Build quality is really nice and solid, the roller wheels are very smooth and maneuvering with handle was very convenient.Improvement areas: The manual is very confusing. It shows the filter having 2 pieces (with one swinging out for cleaning). This differs from the illustration on the product page where the filter is only shown as a wire mesh that slides out. Also the product description page on Amazon is confusing- it mentions two filter pieces (one backup), but mine did not come with this. Customer support was very responsive and helped address my questions.Overall I give this 5 stars based on product quality and performance so far and custom care's responsiveness.

Never used a dehumidifier before so I do not have a point of comparison.Having some continuous rain and cold weather makes the bedrooms very cold and humid. Bought this Wansid dehumidifier since it was a recommendation from a friend.The dehumidifier is kind of small, sturdy and it seems durable. It has manual and auto modes as well as a cloth drier option (never used it). It shows the current humidity level and the room was about 87%, it could lower it down to 64% when I noticed it was leaking water.I pulled out the small tub and it was about one third full (I was surprised the amount of water that can come out from the air!) but it was not leaking from there. It was from the upper section of the dehumidifier (where it meets with the tub). Reinserted again the tub and make sure it was a tight fit.So far happy with the purchase and it gets the job done!

We were getting really irritated with the constant humidity in the upstairs level of our home. This dehumidifier works excellent. Simple to plug in and start, and easy to dispose of water. So glad we found this!

Been using this dehumidifier for a couple of months now and it definitely does it's job. I got it as a companion to a larger unit that is stationed in the main living room. I have this one hooked up with the hose to a bucket in the master bedroom and it dehumidifies the air pretty well and is not constantly running because of the power saving mode, which is good. Unit was smaller than I expected, which is fine, but if anyone plans on buying this to service an entire house under 1500 sqft, I would get 2 of these or a bigger unit for sure. Overall pleased with performance and looks.

In Alabama, there is lots of humidity. I have this in a 25x25 building and it does a fabulous job of keeping the humidity at a comfortable level. I couldn't believe how much water it removed from the room when we set it up. Over a gallon in a 24 hour period. I do recommend using a large bucket to drain the water into if you live in a highly humid region or there will be lots of trips to drain the container. Now that the de-humidifier is on all the time, there is less water to drain. The room air conditioner doesn't have to work so hard any more.

This unit seems to be working very well. i am Amazed at how much volume it can pull from a room- Not too noisy but definitely not quiet- similar to a small desk fan. when running at max It can be emptied 3 times a day. Of coarse it will depend on the humidity in the room it is running in . Mine is located in Upstate New York in the summer time.

Took 2.5 litres of water moisture out of my library within 7-8 hours. Read the fine print, this unit is CAPABLE of removing 30 pints a day, it does not have a 30 pint tank. Really like the continuous run hose drain option, I am not using that for the moment but it's a nice option to have. Nice and quiet operation. Worth the $$, already considering getting a second one for upstairs.

I have been using this for about three weeks now and our basement is dry. We no longer have the musty smell.

Smaller than it looks online.Works well for 1 room. Quiet.Like the drain option.

The unit seems to be working fine in my basement. It has collected 1/4 tank of water after 5 hours and the air is fresh now. I had trouble getting small wheels on the bottom so left them off. It is light enough to move by hand. So far I am very pleased with it.

This dehumidifier is significantly smaller than they make it out to be, not big enough for a full basement more like a small room, not 2000w it is 140w, is a small unit like 1.5ft tall it works ok for what it is but it is described and priced like a way bigger unit.
