Working great
I replaced the two heater core connectors about a month ago. When I replaced them I topped off the coolant and then pressure tested to verify the repair. I moved the hoses and fittings around. I left the pressure tester on for three hours. No leaks occurred and the fittings stayed in place. A month later and still no leaks

Perfect Replacement for OEM
Replaced on my 2005 Chevy Silverado 4.8L. The old one was getting to where it was leaking. Replaced the old plastic one that was deteriorating from age and heat cycles. I got 20 years out of the OEM one. This one should last the rest of the trucks life. I need to replace the other side.

Excellent. Better than original
100% better than the plastic ones the GM factory uses. These won’t break over time.

One of the best maintenance upgrades I seen... Period.
Stumbled across these when looking for quick disconnect heater hose connectors for my 2002 Ford Excursion 7.3 Powerstroke. Decided to spend the few extra bucks and go metal, did not disappoint! After 22 years of service, the plastic quick disconnect broke just brushing up against it while doing other maintenance and the factory heater hose was obsoleted by Motorcraft, soI had to make my own. Overall significantly cheaper even with this more expensive fitting and hose. Can't go wrong with this upgrade, the peace of mind on this repair is worth it. This is the one to buy! Highly recommended!

Better than OEM
OEM is plastic these are solid metal. Betting they will last a long time. Not too difficult to install with the push tool also available here. Recomend replacing the pair you see under the hood at the same time for peace of mind.

Fixed the leak
2006 Silverado 5.3; One week in, and so far so good. Replaced both inlet and outlet. They didn't seem quite as tight as OEM, but fixed the leak and no leaks so far. And they look nice. lol

Great product
Works good, the barbed end is a little small. After installing, I used a lightly used spring clamp on the barbed end and the hose was loose. I took the spring clamp off and used a worm gear style clamp, much tighter fit and no leaks. This product is much better than the oem plastic.
