Works Great Once You Get the Hang of It!
We decided to make our own wedding invitations and we used a laminator to adhere the gold foil. The picture I've attached is of the flower detail on our invitation. We did that one before we figured out the right trick to make it work perfectly. Here's what you should remember:-You have to use a laser jet printer to print your design. Laser jet printers use toner and this gold foil adheres to toner.-Make sure the gold side of the foil is facing up.-If it is important that you keep the foil in place, you should use WASHI tape and a sheet of printer paper. We laid my invitation in the middle of the paper. Then, I took the gold foil (I cut it to the perfect size) and laid it over the floral design. Once it was in place, I used the WASHI tape to keep the gold foil in place over my floral design. Then I ran the entire sheet of printer paper (with gold foil and invitation attached) through the laminator. Using WASHI tape is important because it can withstand the heat from a laminator and the same piece of tape can be used over and over (so there isn't a lot of waste).-This was the most important tip for me: If your design is rectangular, run the project through the laminator, SHORT SIDE FIRST. At first, we ran the invitation through the laminator long ways, and the gold didn't adhere in every spot. Once we did it on the short way, the gold adhered completely because the machine could heat the foil more evenly and with less crinkles.

Better than other brands
I've tried Minc and another knock off-brand and I would have to say that this performed better than all of them. The foil seems to be a little thicker and less prone to scratches that would mess up the foil. The application was easy. I didn't have to use extreme heat and there was minimum residue on my final project and that residue wiped off with a little rubbing. Overall, I had to say it worked really well.

Great Bulk Buy!
I needed a senior award, for 60 seniors in under 24 hours when our ribbons didn’t arrive. I was super skeptical towards this method but I decided to try it since we had a smooth black cardstock on hand (Astrobrite)I ran it through and the small print does seem to flake easily but it looked like a million bucksReading reviews I was prepared for about a 60% success rate, so I made 90 awards and ditched the last 30.Overall this was a fantastic craft with little to no “learning” time and it was dummy proof, print, load, laminate. If you have time or don’t have time, I would gladly recommend for that pop of elegance!

Love this product!
I wanted to use this to match school colors for family shirts for my niece's graduation. It was easy to use and stuck to transfer with ease because it wasn't too thick! Photo doesn't do it justice, the shirts came out beautifully! I also like the LARGE ROLL instead of sheets! I did 10 shirts with plenty left on the roll!

Never perfect. Not even okay
I tried multiple settings and techniques and it never came out even okay. The letters were always blotchy and parts that didnt even have toner were affected too, ruining the purpose of using it. Wasted a lot of time and material. Tried on 3 different types of paper with different finishes and same results on all.

Pretty shine
It didn't stick to all the toner but it worked fine.
