This is a wonderful biscuit/cookie. Tin Tams are some of the best cookies mass produced that are produced if you love chocolate. I tried their dark chocolate and found it to be a little bitter and not as flavorful as the original and the double chocolate ones. A real delight!

On a lark and just for fun, I ordered two packets of Tim Tams. It had been ages since I'd chomped into that chocalety wafer from my childhood and I wanted to know if some things really do stay the same. A Tim Tam, for those who don't know, consists of two malt biscuits separated by a chocolate cream filling and coated in a thin layer of rippled chocolate. I had only to wait a couple of days as yes, the treat-filled parcel arrived that fast. Tearing open the wrapping eagerly, I bit down on the sweet tile. What can I say,except that I immediately sensed the cellular cascades in my brain outputting neuromodulatory proteins that promote neurogenesis, neuronal function and brain connectivity. This is to say nothing of the blood-flow improvement in my sensory systems. The studies were right! Tim Tam modulated flavanol consumption on neurocognition and behavior were manifesting on my mood, cognition and behaviour. If you, like me, want to reverse cognitive decline, I cannot recommend Australia's most loved chocolate biscuit highly enough.

As an american, I really wanted to try these. But they are not for sale here. I was excited to find them on Amazon. We tried a few different versions and these are the best, in my opinion. The best "store bought," cookies I've ever had. I really wish they were for sale in American stores because they are quite expensive here on Amazon. They taste amazing, the texture is the best part about it I think though. I'm not sure how fresh they were because I'm sure they were shipped from overseas. They seemed fresh enough to me.
