Highly recommended NU209 replacement
I have purchased several of the LQM batteries for our Dell servers. This is a drop-in replacement for the NU209; voltage, capacity, and size are identical, the Dell cable fits the battery connector. All have had recent date codes and took a full charge. They work, folks, and they are considerably less expensive than the Dell part. Highly recommended.*Edit 10/24/17* - I've just replaced the NU209 in another server with an LQM battery. My previous review remains unchanged; these work well, and the price can't be beat.*11/27/17* And, another LQM battery installed. As expected, no issues. I've yet to have a DOA or failure on one of these. Verry highly recommended.

100% charge and 99% of capacity: just like when I had a new battery
Good price and worked like when the server was new:Be careful with batteries. Some vendors will sell used batteries as new. There are two values for describing battery charge: "Percent Capacity compared to new" and "Percent up to capacity charged" If your battery capacity is 1%, but it charged to 100% capacity, then really only 1% charge. The battery I ordered from here had a capacity of around 99% and is at 100% charge.Good product. Good service; I would buy batteries from this vendor again.

Good battery that functions as intended and will actually fully charge
After trying and returning other 'replacement' batteries from other vendors, I was happy to get one from this vendor that worked perfectly. The first thing that stood out to me was that this battery is branded as LQM rather than being branded as a counterfeit official 'Dell' battery. The other batteries of questionable origin all had what I believe to be fake Dell official branding on them and would not take a charge.I can't review the longevity of this battery as I have only had it installed for a few days, but it did work as intended so far. The charge cycle completed fully and I then initiated a learn cycle on the RAID controller. The learn cycle completed successfully and the battery came back up to a full charge. Finally my RAID controller switched from write-through mode to write-back mode automatically; so far, so good!

Failed Three Weeks After Install
The battery arrived with no charge. It appeared to be charging and the server stopped showing the battery alarm and management software showed all to be normal. Three weeks later the battery error returned showing a dead battery. These batteries may be relabeled pulls from recycled hardware.

works but not labeled as shown
Got a battery but not labeled like the picture shows. It was an after market type but works in my Dell R610 for the H700 card.

I don't review a lot of things, but after ...
I don't review a lot of things, but after being skeptical of the name (its listed as a new "laptop" battery), I just wanted to report that its working perfectly with my perc 5/i in my poweredge 2950. A couple of notes:Firstly, after installing it as suggested on another site I saw, I removed all power to the server (unplugged from power cables), replaced the battery, plugged in but did not power on for 30 minutes to give the battery time to charge.I then powered on the server, only to see the same error message about the battery having failed or is missing. I continued to boot, loaded OpenManage to see the battery was showing but still showed failed.I then cleared the log and cold booted (shut down completely, then powered back on) the server and wala - no more error message on power up, and OpenManage showed the battery as charging.

Worked as Expected
Put this in an old Perc 6i RAID controller because my old one failed. This one was a perfect replacement. Understand a battery in this controller will not begin to charge until you are fully powered on and using it. I mistakenly let the server sit idle in the RAID configuration utility expecting it charge, and on reboot, the server still complained about a battery failure. Once I let the server fully boot and run, I stopped getting this message.

Good battery -- Just Finicky Servers
Was the right part number. However it didn't work in my any of my servers. Thought it was the one complaining about the bad battery, but I then tried it in 2 others (with the same specs) and the same result. It controller states the battery is missing. Tried a couple different things mentioned on forums, like letting it charge 15-30 minutes before powering up the server, clearing event logs, relearn cycles, etc. Firmware is at it's latest on the Perc and Bios. Still comes up as missing. Yet, I put the original battery in, and it shows it is there, but in a "bad" state, or in the case of the ones that still have a good OE battery, it shows up as "good". I don't think it's the battery, I just think there is control circuitry built into the OE battery that this one doesn't have. I'm still giving it 5 stars only because I think it's a good battery, but my Dell servers are just being finicky. The servers I'm using it for is a PE2970 with the Perc6i adapter.
