Do i need to totate it to get colors around the handles?

It depends on your press. My press I do not have to.

does it have a separate box？

YES - the boxes are flat underneath the foam - at least mine were .. they fit the mugs perfect!!!!

are these oven safe? i want to sublimate with a silicone mug wrap in the oven at 400 degrees for 15 mins & wanted to know if these mugs can handle it

As long as the mugs are advertised for sublimation, some people use a convection oven only for sublimation. You cannot use the oven for food. Plus, for sublimation high heat and pressure is required. In my mug press the temp is 400 degrees and the time is for 240 seconds under pressure.
