PROFESSIONALS STAY AWAY!!!
DO NOT BUY IF YOUR INTENDING ON USING IN A PROFESSIONAL VIDEO PRODUCTION BUSINESS!Excellent camera; however, this is an international model NOT intended for the US market. Therefore, you will not be able to use Canon CPS when something needs servicing or repair. The description does not include this information and it’s also not eligible for returns. You’ve been warned.

Almost perfect.
Does the job, no video record limits. and being able to shoot in 8k is amazing. Same great sharp footage from Canon as expected but the lack of in body image stabilization ( IBIS ) is kind of a bummer as footage becomes very shakey again, forget about even using it as a photo camera. Happy to report the cage for Smallrig cage for the regular R5 works just fine with the R5C albeit a liiitle tight but totally workable.

DO NOT BUY IF IN USA - MISSING FEATURES - CANNOT RETURN EITHER!!!
This camera cannot be registered under US. Therefore, you cannot receive firmware updates. You will not be able to return it AND you do not get all of the features. I looked at the canon (NEW) R5C settings and noticed that there are options missing from this refurbished camera.

Nifty top of the line
Refurb made this an excellent value. Savings large enough to allow extended warranty/insurance, and still cost significantly less than the normal price.

The Camera I Received Has A European Serial Number
UPDATE: California Civil Code 1797.81 on Grey Market Goods requires full disclosure that the grey market product may not come with a full manufacturer's warranty or other items. THIS PRODUCT PAGE DOES NOT MENTION THIS.Previous Review -I just received the camera today and I was so excited because I saved $600 buying refurbished. However, I went to Canon USA website to register the camera and it said it had an invalid Serial Number. It appears to be for the European market. So I'm thinking of returning it.The camera looks brand new, the bubble wrap that is meant to go around the camera was packed inside the manufacturer box on the side, which I thought was strange. And the camera box wasn't protected inside the shipping box especially well, but it it appears no worse for wear.My big fear is that not only is it refurbished, but that it may be a factory second - there could be an issue that I don't know about that may not come up for a while but cause me a lot of grief OR maybe nothing ever happens, or the thing that's wrong isn't even something I use...I think that Jerry's should have listed exactly the situation so I could've made an educated purchase, but instead I feel tricked. How can I trust that they'll tell me the situation (refurbished or factory second) even if I called - they're incentivized to say whatever will make me keep the camera past the return date. And now I'm reading more about the seller and lots of people have complained about a restocking fee. Plus, I'll have to insure and pay for certified shipping so I can be certain they receive it.MPB sells used cameras for only a little more than this camera costs - so maybe that's the better option. I'm going to seek some advice from my local Canon Dealer. Someone said to call canon directly and I might be able to find out more and that they may even still do a repair if necessary.Buyer beware.
