I was Airborne Infantry in the Army and eventually nearly every soldier adds a cheap barber's shaving brush to their weapon's cleaning kit. Among other things, can't beat it for the initial dust off of your weapon. Gets those nooks and crannies with ease. Same thing here. Wiping is half the battle. Go top to bottom kicking debris down with brush, wipe down, vacuum the floor. Takes out a lot of elbow grease
