Q: How do I know what weight my clock needs?

The correct size weight, depends on the type of clock, you have. If your clock is a 30-hour clock (meaning the weights have to be pulled up daily) then it will require 275 gram - 320 gram weights. If your clock has a music box (or has three weights), the size required is 320 grams. If it has two weights, without a music box, then a 275 gram weight will usually suffice. A 320 gram weight will work in both instances. For cuckoo clocks, that run 8 days (or a full week) after pulling the weights up, these clock use larger weights, weighing 1260 grams - 1500 grams. Again, the larger size (1500 grams), is for 3-weighted clocks, with a music box and the smaller (1260g weights) are for a 2-weight, 8-day cuckoo, with no music box.

It's a Cuckoo clock weight, no doubt about it.

Product arrived next day, and was exactly as shown in the description and image. I needed an extra weight, as I had lost one when my clock was in storage. It does the job, no doubt about it. I am happy with this purchase.
