Can you sew through this tape without gumming up the needle?

I haven’t tried to sew through. My guess is that it’s easy to do it because the tape is made of some easy-to-tear material. But the glue will very likely affect the needle eventually.

Will it peel paint off of a wall when removing? I'm putting a vinyl backdrop on a painted wall or painted wood frame temporarily. Can't hurt the paint

I personally would not use this tape on a painted surface. it may remove the paint and mar the surface. Hope this helps. It's better for paper.

What is the thickness of this 2-sided tape?

This tape is basically just a shiny paper cover over a line of adhesive. Tear or cut off the length you need and place it on your project. Then peel off the paper and place the top part of your project on top of it. There is virtually no real thickness to this tape...the line of adhesive is flat. It doesn't add any dimension to a project, simply sticks two things together as glue would.

Will this hold felt to card stock?

I just tried it and yes it does stick felt to cardstock.
