Comfortable and a perfect flexible fit!!! I love the layered skirt. It falls beautifully and the elastic makes it slimming in all the right spots.It feels 100% cotton with elastic sewn in, hence it was very wrinkled. It ironed out fine.It’s quite thin, but I didn’t wear a slip with it since the double layer skirt was opaque enough.The color was exactly as shown, and beautiful!

This is actually my second time purchasing this item as I had ordered the black one initially. I wore both to the Renaissance Fair and got so many compliments! This dress is so whimsical and fun, and it is my go to for the fairs. The material is very light so it isn’t too hot in the earlier months, but when I wore the black one previously it definitely gets hot! It fits well and the elastic band around the waist makes it easy to slip on. I do think for a bigger chest the elastic waist part can move up to the middle of your chest quite a bit, but it’s easy enough to adjust. It washes nice, but god is it hard to get all the wrinkles out! Even when I steam it, after wearing for a bit it wrinkles up. Since the dress is so flowy, it’s harder to tell that the wrinkles are there, but definitely worth the price for a dress you can wear to any medieval event or occasion!

My kiddo and I have been enjoying Renaissance festivals for several years. Several years ago she surprised me by asking about dressing up for them. I was delighted being an ex theater nerd myself so that was right up my street. Anyways this is the second ren fest dress I've gotten her as she outgrew the first one.She loves the style of this dress it's a bit fairy princess with it's long sleeves and busy bunching and such, and the vibrant red color. The fabric is comfortable (I'm told) even on hotter days. It's reasonably priced and a good value, and will last several years until she outgrows it. It works well and looks good with her other ren fest garb accessories (double ring belt, belt bag, flowered headdress).It does have a bit of a tendency to wrinkle and hold onto wrinkles. Oh well, nothin's perfect I guess.

I wore this to a Renaissance festival this weekend and absolutely love it. I accessorized it, but looks great by itself. Extremely comfortable. I am 5'6", and the length is perfect. The elastic around the waist is very flattering and would fit a wide range of sizes.

The dress fit perfectly and looks really good. I am a short 5'1" but in the picture I have boots with a heel and platform on. The part of the sleeve that hangs down was a little long and dragged on the ground. Every once in awhile it got stepped on. But...I am short! The quality of the material is good. The bottom skirt is a bit sheer but the overskirt mostly covers that. It depends on how you wear it. It does make it a little cooler to wear in the midday hot sun. I am really happy with this purchase. I can make it into a few different style costumes for Renn Faires or Pirate Faires...etc... I would highly recommend this dress.

I got a L/XL. I love this dress! I felt super confident in It and the sleeves were my favorite part! This was my first time at Ren faire and I had an amazing time!

I agree with other reviews on the fit of the dress. It fits well, is flattering, and the perfect base for many outfits. However, it is way thinner than I expected and not worth $45. $20 at best, on a good day.
