Fun While Learning!
I have bought 3 of these now for grandchildren and friends with kids! This is a great learning resource for colors, counting, language development, social skills and coping/character building. My 15 month old grandson loves to hide the squirrel around the house and play “Where’s the Squirrel?” The book that accompanies this game is fun all year long. Take it from a retired Teacher, Communication Disorder Specialist, this is a great learning tool with endless possibilities and TONS of fun!

What a fun and cute game! Easy for my preschoolers to understand and play. I even enjoyed playing a round. The accompanying book is super cute too!

Fun Game Tie-in, Needs More Flaps
I'm an early interventionist, so all my books and toys get heavy use and lots of love. I bought this to go with the game. I'm not a fan of the story. My biggest issue is, I wish the acorns were hidden behind several doors so that continued counting was possible. I am trying to teach skills and overcome issues like poor impulse control, so when we're hunting for acorns, we need incentive to keep counting. When all the acorns are behind one door, the child sees the acorns and moves on to the next page. Counting becomes a fight. Otherwise, I like the game tie-in. The book is sturdy and well-made, and the illustrations are cute.

but our daughter is very happy with it
This book was a hit with out two year old! She couldn't put it down once it arrived. It teaches the primary colors and numbers 1-5. I do wish the book went from 1-10 instead, but our daughter is very happy with it, so 5 stars!
