6 Pack G4 GX5.3 Lamp Holder Rectangular Porcelain Socket for MR16 MR11 LED CFL Halogen Bulbs with 6" Leads

Worked great to fix my outdoor light where the fixture corroded with the water that leaked in.

These hard to find sockets work perfect and economical.

When we moved into our house last fall, 9 out of 10 landscape lights were non-functioning. Half used replaceable MR16 bulbs but the lamp holders were badly corroded while the other lights were the newer LED style that I guess were meant to be tossed if they ever quit working. Instead, I bought two packs of these G5.3 sockets and spent a few evenings rebuilding and/or retrofitting the lights. Now, all the landscape lights are working and all are using replaceable MR16 LED bulbs now.

Used these lampholders to convert fluorescent walk lights to LED. 5 of the 6 held the LED bulb securely; the other one did not and went into the trash. Otherwise well made, plenty of wire lead and easy to mount.

Perfect for G4 lamps. Be careful, the material will crack if overtightened.

I needed to replace the lamp holder on a vintage Sankyo Dual-8 projector. Most lamp holders I checked out were too big for the space. These fit right in and within minutes I was watching movies. I didn't need 6, but 6 of these cost less than one of some other models.

I bought these because the price was cheaper to buy this bundle than to buy these darn things individual. I bought it to replace the fixture in my spot that shines X-mas things on the side of the house. Mine got cracked and would no longer hold the bulb in place. It did the job and saved me throwing out that spotlight! I love projecting Santa, a wreath, or Easter Bunny up on the side of the house for all the kiddies! Very happy with this seller!

I have an old desk lamp that uses a 50 W (12 VDC) halogen bulb. This part was a perfect replacement for the old socket that died - it fit the bracket perfectly. The wire insulation looks like it will handle the heat much better than the original did. I only needed the one, but as the other reviewers noted, this is a quality product so it was worth buying 6 to get a quality item.

These were used to replace damaged sockets that were no longer "gripping" the MR16 bulb pins (because burned-out bulbs had been wiggled excessively when removed from the sockets previously). The new sockets worked exactly as required: no defects.

The 6" leads were to short. 9" leads would be a lot better.

Leads are of the right gauge but are only 6 cm long! That says to me that they jusr don't care of the customer since juction are nost of the time at 15 to 20 cm from the heat source in most lamps.
