Greatest hose ever.
Love this brand. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Good flow, durability, no leaks, CHEMICAL FREE water Their whole line of products are outstanding. One caveat. They do not withstand forest fires.

Finally - a hose that isn't trash
I'm a contractor. In the era of throw away amazon products that are identical with varying names and logos I have become frustrated to find what I call "tools" rather than "consumables". It does not matter how many of the old style vinyl and rubber hoses I have bought. They are all junk. For a contractor. None of them work in the winter. They are all weak or heavy. They deteriorate pretty quickly. They are hard to roll up. After a century or more of "hose" I would think there would be something better. What about lifetime warranty expandable garden hoses with 20,000 positive reviews that break on the first use? So much trash.I found out about urethane hoses and started a new cycle of experimentation. I bought a Water Right 7/16" x 50' and it is pretty good. It does have a "set" in the coil shape that is pretty pronounced. I didn't like the silly plastic cartoon strain reliefs of the original, but they have since improved them. 7/16", however is a very low flow hose. Great for wet saws because of their small size and portability.I found out that CoilHose (the pneumatic hose manufacturer) started making water hoses. They have a standard 5/8" ID garden hose that I tried. It's bright blue, which is cool because my company colors are blue. I'd say it's a little on the thin side as far as the hose wall thickness goes. It also has a fairly strong coil "set". However, my very first one of those had leaks in it even before we used it. That was a little disappointing. I bought it from Zoro and they were fantastic about replacing it.While I was waiting for the backordered replacement to come from Zoro I ordered the Eley from Amazon. I no longer expect much quality from any manufacturer anymore. When I took it out of the box and felt it for no more than a few seconds I yelled out in my garage, "Finally!" The end fittings on this hose are great, strong, pretty. There are no strain reliefs but in my experience most strain reliefs are ineffective, break, fall off, or slide down anyway. The hose is great! Simple gray, quite thick, retains its shape even if I pinch it with my fingers. Also, stretched out, it has the least "set" of any of the urethanes I've tried and lies straighter. This is a winner. It made me smile.I know reviews are more and more useless, but I thought Eley should get some good praise for an exceptional product. Now, if there could only be one single front-trigger multi-pattern hose nozzle anywhere on the entire planet that was worth my time I would love to buy it. That is another item that is universal trash. There are some older style brass twist style nozzles that are still useful. Sometimes I want a trigger though.Well that was a fun rant!

It will kink but a quick flick will bounce it back
*Somewhat lighter than my present rubber hose, not that much. Both Eley and my rubber are 25 feet*a bouncier feel to it when pulling along.- It will get a slight small kink but pops right out. You definitely do not need to walk back to the tiny kink.*Its safe to drink from and for vegetable garden and my rubber hose is not.-Its much more expensive than my rubber hose. Overall I like this hose. It isn't as light as I thought it would be but its light enough. I've had several kinds of hoses over past 40 years made from rubber to other materials and this hose does have a unique bouncy feel to it. I'm not sure if that feel is worth this extra cost though. I presently have a rubber hose that I use in the front of the house and it is just about as kink free as this hose I just bought. The rubber hose is much less expensive. After having both and using this one for my garden, I have to say if you don't care about the hose being safe to drink from or water your vegetable plants then just buy a good rubber hose. My rubber hose does not kink and again if it does kink, it comes out but not quite as fast of a pop like this Eley hose. Ive had my present rubber hose for about 9ish years and its fine, strong, doesn't leak and for the most part its kink free like this Eley hose. Is it worth the difference in the cost of this Eley hose? You decide. It is safer to drink from and why I bought it. I was annoyed when it had a small kink while pulling to use but it popped right out. The company says it does not kink and that simply is NOT true. Ill have to update this review with a video. I think if you are using it from its wound up state to pulling out in more of a straight line it possibly wont kink at all. Ill update a bit later.

Best hose I've ever had
We have a small pasture and stable. We've gone through many, many hoses over the years and tried every hose we could find. Finally got this Eley hose in spite of the cost. We've had it for 10 months now with no problems. I can't remember any previous hose lasting that long at our place. Between us and the horses we're very hard on hoses. This hose is flexible, maneuverable, and tough. We love it, and if it every blows out (which I doubt) We'll get another.

Best damn hose ever!
My yard needs 150 feet of hose because I have no irrigation system other than "your truly"... plus in the past I have been exhausted using & replacing sub-grade 75-foot hoses linked together.FINALLY, I decided to take a chance on this more expensive hose ---- and it has been so worth it!!!!!! It seems impossible to have it kink while dragging it all around my house to feed the grass; it seems to have a.i. technology (kidding, but not kidding) to keep it un-kinked no matter how I drag it around and back again... so what a pleasure to use it in watering my entire yard!

Great but expensive, will make you hate your other hoses
What can I say? Pretty much the best hose I’ve ever used. It’s light, doesn’t kink easily and offers good water pressure. The main downside is how expensive it is, especially since it makes my other hoses seem so inferior. Maybe I’m just lazy (ok, definitely) but it’s not convenient to have a single hose, no matter how long and great said hose is.So now I have one great hose and two hoses I resent for not being this hose, but like am I really gonna buy two more $200 hoses? I may have been better off not knowing how much better this hose is. Anyway, if you are prepared to replace all your hoses with this magical $200 hose, you can stop your search, throw caution to the wind and buy this badass hose in multiples. But if the idea of multiple $200 hoses makes you cringe, as does not loving all your hose children equally, perhaps skip this one for now. #allhosesmatter
